Why Larry Dolan Needs to Sell the Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Correct me if im wrong, but that's the year Juan Gon brought his talents and steroids to cleveland right? Were they not in contention that year? Thought they lost in the first round of the play-offs that year. Boy did they get a good package for Colon though.. my god.

Yeah I believe Juan Gon inked a 1 yr. deal with the Tribe coming off his worst career season with Detroit.

That was Kenny's contract year, along with Burba and Nagy as well.

With Bartolo and Thome a year away.

I do think we are quickly approaching the point of no return with the Dolans. The fan support, even among the loyal diehards, is dying fast. Their perceived failures at the deadline, their failure to improve every off-season where they have truly needed it, and their failures to hire good management, outside of a few years of Shapiro, is leading this team into the most unprofitable in all of sports. I hope they sell soon, because otherwise, they'll take a loss.

So you're saying Dolan isn't cleaning up from the revenue sharing?

Ridiculous, he's rolling in the dough as his master plan nears completion!

But for real though, he's 81...

Just saying, but sooner or later he's going to be knock, knock, knockin on heavens door....no?

One would think, but...who knows?

Even still, for the Dolan trust, you'd think that selling the Indians needs to happen before it becomes the bane of their existence.

He'll be knocking a long time if St. Peter is a Cleveland fan.

Are some people in here planning or hoping for our owner to die? This is fucking hilarious, and pathetic.

I mean...he is 81...

Not hoping or planning for it....I'm just sayin.

If Dolan were to die, I'd imagine his son would take it and never sell it, correct? Especially with the new death taxes that are coming down the pike.

Now is the time to sell. If they ever were going to sell, now is the time.

Well no, but I mean...

Who wants to live forever?

Quite frankly now seems like the time, what with the new appetite for enhanced TV deals and the Indians having a relatively shitty one that they can get out of if necessary.

Amazing how the threads about the Indians take after the team. They become trainwrecks.
