Windy Interview on leaving for ESPN

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
All I really get from this is we as a city and a fanbase can give someone all the support, enthusiasm and love they could ever want, they could say everything is great and perfect.....and the next big thing could crop up, money will get thrown at it, and that will be that.

Plus, I know what Windy said...come on, how much journalistic freedom is he really going to have being a part ESPN's heat index super media extravaganza. I don't blame Windy. He can do what he wants....but it is still lame on his part in my opinion. Money and hype win again.

It really pains me to see Windy leave..

Not because he left Cleveland.

Because he went to join the idiots of ESPN, reporting whatever they hear without getting clarification IE: Broussard, extremely bias. Yes that ESPN, go to FOXSports or something GOD. :thumbdown

Windy should thank the other hacks covering Cleveland sports for propping him up nicely. Unfortunately, it doesn't take much to become the beat writer of the people in this area. He was active, approachable and had the good fortune of hitching his horse to Lebron early. We would be foolish to think he'd do anything other than ride that pony until it drops dead.

I'm not excited to see him go, but I think his insight and intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the Cavs was overestimated by many.

"Man, we talkin bout' writin. Not a player, not a game. But Writin..."

Congrats Brian, Now I can move on with my fucking life. Wait who the Fuck is Windy? LOL

everyone is jumping ship... ESPN is taking over. They are all going to get together everynight and beat off to the Heat

God knows I do... with the coarsest grain sand paper I can find.

I hope Lebron breaks his leg before the season starts- then ESPN can shove their "Heat Index" up their fucking ass. The Lakers won back to back championships and nobody seems to give a shit about them. They have actually won something. Lebron has nothing. Nothing at all

No... I don't know what the hell you're talking about.

I don't have time to break down everything I said in my post... sorry. And I knew exactly the sarcasm you were hinting at and it lacked much bumbling sense... very much like the Moohead radio interviews with you I have heard in the past.

I'd like to just stay on topic and keep this good thread going as I did in my first post and not make this personal but that looks like it may be difficult with the one line WTF are you talking about.

Windy dodging the question about if he protected LBJ by withholding info...

recap would be nice can't listen to it right now

I'd still like to know when the fans who shelled out gobs of hard-earned money on tickets/merchandise, etc are going to be getting a full expose/explanation on what exactly transpired this past May? Since it ain't gonna be coming from Windy, who will it come from?

I'd be happier if he was going to be the beat writer for the Miami Herald or something. Just when the NBA and ESPN's coverage couldn't get any more watered down, they bring us the "Heat Index", I can't wait to have Jamele Hill tell me which Ocean Ave club Lebron will be doing coke-lines at that night. Its all phony/cheesy/superficial, etc etc etc.

I'll be rooting for the torn ACL on December 2nd.
