Watching Summerslam 2001. The Invasion angle didn't go very well, but this is a great show.

Kurt Angle's run against Austin that summer was awesome. Solidified him as a top star in the business.
 
Did anyone see Ayesha Curry's posts claiming WWE was fixed for money or ratings? Not sure how i feel about this.

Oi obviously enjoys wrestling but is too embarrassed to admit it. Wonder what other closets Oi is afraid to come out of.

no odds on a surprise 7th entry for MITB
 
Saw it right before game 7 started, so didn't have time to post. There was a late shift in betting odds that swung heavily towards Seth Rollins last night in the main event.

So, I'm not at all surprised he got the clean pin on Reigns, and then Ambrose got the cash in.

Word is that when WWE does split live events, the Reigns shows AKA the supposed "A" shows were being out attended by the "B" shows featuring Ambrose. Seems like they are finally slowing his push now that it's hurting the bottom line.

It's also baffling to me that they're going to finally have the Shield triple threat match at a fucking C-level PPV. That should be the main event of Summerslam or Wrestlemania. I mean, it's probably because they plan to split them up between the brands next month, but it still feels ridiculous to me.
 
Reigns just got hit with that 30 day wellness violation
 
Reigns suspension still allows him to be at battleground or cancel the bout and reschedule it for summerslam.

Fans seem distraught and broken up about the whole thing though

On a side note. not sure if it was family guy , the Simpson or both but the Chicken man battles were epic. They should have Owens and Zayn just continuously fighting throughout a whole show in the background.
EDIt.. forget just one show... all shows through battleground.
Renee interviewing Rusev... Owens and Zayn in the background.

Ziggler vs anyone.. Zayn and Owens in the background at ringside just trading punches.

Show someone pulling up to the entrance... in the parking lot background Zayn and Owens still duking it out. etc.
