I'm really dissapointed that I just bought Xbox One and Street Fighter will be on PS4. Maybe by the time it comes out I will be able to buy a PS4 because I really want to play Uncharted 4 when it releases also.
With PSN constantly being down, I couldn't recommend a PS4 to anyone. I know it's the result of DDOS attacks, but it is still a very giant piss off.It has been 1 year since the consoles got released, what's everyone's opinion now on which is better? Would appreciate it since I'm planning on buying one at Boxing Day.
It's incredible to see how many people are buying/bought the Xbox1 on the strength of the Master Chief collection. If we're not focusing on games that came out 10 years ago, The Last of Us, Uncharted 4 and Street Fighter 5 are far and away the most exciting exclusives of the next gen consoles to me. Even Infamous was a great game.
Not knocking Xbox users, just a bit surprised at how much Halo 2 still resonates with people.
Honestly, I think Tomb Raider's Xbone exclusivity makes it pretty much a wash with Uncharted. I actually liked the Tomb Raider reboot more than Uncharted 3, which I thought was a little uninspiring, as it was basically identical to the second game in both plot points and set-pieces, just less memorable overall. If the second Tomb Raider is as good as the first one, Uncharted will have some nice competition.
And yeah, I realize that Tomb Raider is only a timed exclusive, but I'm more than likely going to buy it day one, as are a lot of people that really liked the reboot, so that matters. I also know that Uncharted is a bigger seller financially at this point, but again, I'm talking quality here, not sales. Quality-wise, I think the games will largely be a wash.

I don't know if this was known earlier ,but Microsoft is publishing "Rise of the Tomb Raider" wonder if this is going to effects PS getting the game any sooner than it would have.
It's a sad day when you can say that a game that sold 5 million copies was a sales disappointment. It's pathetic actually. I'm sure with the DE it made some profit though.I'm guessing it was just part of the exclusivity agreement. Microsoft publishing the game, assuming that means they're packaging and shipping it, saves Squeenix money. Given that the first Tomb Raider underperformed sales-wise despite getting pretty unanimously positive reviews, it made sense for them to find someone to pay them to make the sequel exclusive.
Given that we haven't heard anything other than Rise is a timed exclusive, the agreement probably states that Microsoft will publish the Xbone version and, once the timed exclusivity runs out, Square is free to publish it elsewhere on their own.

You all know that Sony is bankrupt and was just about to announce a huge list of layoffs before the Sony hack or the Lizard squad attack? Honestly it's probably more internal sabotage.
