i know catholics. my aunt married into a catholic family. i know other catholics. i konw former catholics turned christian. let me put it like this, catholics dont know the Bible. they pick and choose a handful of different scriptures. they dont teach the word. catholics, in general, do not read, they do not know the scriptures. ive had conversations with catholics about the Bible and they had no idea what they were talking about... it doesnt surprise me that you are / were a catholic.

i dont care what you claim or what school you went to, that doesnt mean you understand scriptures or even know God for that matter. my uncle is a atheist and he grew up in a christian home. it means nothing. its about YOU.

catholics "technically" are christians.. but they really arent. you can ask any former catholic turn christian and they will tell you the same thing. this is commonly known amongst the "christian community". i guess you need to be on the "in" to know and understand.

a lot of people dont understand what faith without works is because they dont understand what works means.

works is living by the word of God. thats works. but how do you perform works, if you dont know what God wants from you?

catholics, in general, live any way they want, then go to the confession booth and "confess" to some man they call father. catholics practice a lot of practices that God let known is wrong.

again, if you know the scriptures, you know catholics have evil practices. but catholics dont know because they were taught wrong from a child on up.

some catholics wake up and get out of there, some dont.

i gues you need to take heed, instead of "not take this conversation serious" because you can learn something, if you so choose to.
