Game 1 -|- Nets @ Cavs -|- Wed. October 30th, 7:00PM.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That's fairly evident from your post, no offense...

o yea? did we just go about 500 playing scrubs in the preseason? Have an awful year last year?

obligatory 'its just preseason' and 'that was last year' but why would you think a team is better than what they have ever shown they are capable of? I dont see anything wrong with my post

Cavs beat Boston opening day in 2010 with the starting unit of Hickson, AssSauce, Av, Sessions and J. Moon.

That was a better Boston Unit and this is a better Cavs team. Anything can happen but I don't mind our chances.

Kyrie is going to do Kyrie things and Andy and Tristan are going to dominate the boards and give us second chances and that will be the difference...Cavs 101 to 96 in a nailbiter

I was impressed watching the nets move the ball in the preseaon against the heat. If they can keep that up they have a lot of weapons, albeit mainly antique ones

A Boston unit on a back to back that had just beat the heat at home and traveled to Cleveland?

3 weeks later that team came back and pummeled the Cavs to a 19 point loss.

completely different set of circumstance and noone said the Cavs couldnt win this game only that Odds are in Brooklyns favor.

Not seeing what everyone else is seeing. Yes, the Cavs have- at times- looked good during the preseason. But the Nets are a talented team with a ton of experienced vets and the Cavs are still very young and should probably start somewhat slow this year.

It'll be close for the first quarter and a half or so, but the Nets will end up blowing the doors off of them in the second half.

Interested to see if Kyrie takes matters into his own hands if/when the Nets start to pull away. There's no one defender on this Nets team who can contain Kyrie, and he knows it.

The Cavs are a playoff team. No playoff team should expect to get "slaughtered" at home no matter who they're playing. The Cavs will win 70% of their home games and the Nets may win a bit over 50% of their road games. That's what makes it a silly statement.

Actually the Cavs are not a playoff team. They are a projected playoff team and a young one at that.

Cavs very may well win 70% of their road games but a less talented Net team won more than 50% of their games and dispatched Cleveland on the road.

Once again on paper the Cavs should get their buts kicked.

Again, they don't go by what the paper says. They go out there and play, just because the paper says we will get "slaughtered" doesn't mean shit. We have a decent shot at winning, at home against a Brooklyn team that hasn't played much together as a unit. Only helps our chances if Bynum comes back. I'm optimistic. I'm not saying I guarantee we win, I'm saying I think we have a shot.
