Game 1 -|- Nets @ Cavs -|- Wed. October 30th, 7:00PM.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Again, they don't go by what the paper says. They go out there and play, just because the paper says we will get "slaughtered" doesn't mean shit. We have a decent shot at winning, at home against a Brooklyn team that hasn't played much together as a unit. Only helps our chances if Bynum comes back. I'm optimistic. I'm not saying I guarantee we win, I'm saying I think we have a shot.

three of the starters have 78 games together. 2 of the other starters have hundreds of games together. All five know what it like to deal with roster turnover and they are all viable veterans with a deep bench.

Id rather see the Cavs play the Heat,OKC, Knicks or Pacers for opening night. At least they have disadvantages to potentially exploit.

This defense meanwhile has shown itself inconsistent and the offense is still finding its way.

The Nets definately wont be looking past the Cavs.

If the Cavs pull this out and win it will be a big deal this is definately one they shouldnt have. All im saying is that if the Cavs look bad this game its not the end of the world.

I agree with the highlighted part, I'm not saying we will win but I just don't expect us to get slaughtered. But I'm not judging our team from preseason because the rotations were all out of wack with the camp invitees and we never really had our whole "real" team playing together and our starters/rotation guys didn't get the minutes they would during regular season.

Actually the Cavs are not a playoff team. They are a projected playoff team and a young one at that.

Cavs very may well win 70% of their road games but a less talented Net team won more than 50% of their games and dispatched Cleveland on the road.

Once again on paper the Cavs should get their buts kicked.
You didn't understand a word of the post you responded to, so I'll simplify it.

THE NETS ARE FOUR POINT FAVORITES. Vegas IS paper! So go ahead and throw out your on paper BS, because the paper says close game.

I have to admit, when i saw the line I was ready to put $500 on the Nets before I realized the Cavs don't suck anymore. After three years of shameless tanking this is gonna take some getting used to...

Im so happy the season is finally here. This season is going to be special.

Yeah, other than the NBA coming back, this week is gonna suuuuuck

Longest 48 hours in a long time. Plan to get there good and early, especially if Bynum plays.

Hope a few more tickets get swooped up. Would be nice to have it loud in there early. Think reality though is that it's gonna take some winning to get the hype back again.

Ben just said if he goes 5 on 5 tomorrow at practice again without any problems, he will be cleared to play Wednesday!!

I really want to go but all my friends are broke and I don't want to go alone. Plus i have to study for a test myself. Life decisions here.

Nets will make tough shots in the 4th and should win, but the Cavs will make them work and we'll see some Mike Brown defense.

Sooooo can't wait to be at the game Wednesday! Is it Wednesday yet?

I think we pull this out & let the league know we have arrived.

Kyrie is superior to Deron Williams, especially now that Williams is hobbled & Kyrie is trying on defense.

Dion will blow by old ass Joe Johnson, but Johnson still has some skill to score on Dion.

Pierce will still kill us, but I would be interested to see how our rotation effects him.

TT will be fine on KG, both will get a double double. The edge will go to neither given Tristan's improvement & KG's age.

Andy will irritate Lopez, but I expect him to have a solid game.

Benches are a wash if we stick to a 10 man rotation.

I say Cavs win 95-87.
