Farewell, Timofey Mozgov

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It’s no secret Griff was open to moving Moz at the deadline...it’s unfortunate there was nothing worthwhile available.

I'm sure there were players available, I'm just not sure teams were going to part with them for a rental of Timofey Mozgov. He's going to want to get paid this year and nobody's going to want to pay what he thinks he's worth after having only one good season.

I just hope tonight's incipient DNP-CD is not a sign of things to come. Worried Cavs poor perimeter D will eventually necessitate his use, and giving his hands any more rust won't help, imo....

I swear to god if Lue goes back to Thompson as a start yet again...........

It's not about Mozgov. It's about Thompson. He's 50x better coming off the bench. Stop messing with it.

LOL, started today...zero points, eight rebounds, no blocks, and five PF in 37 minutes of play.

Yeah, the continued flip flopping on this is bizarre.

Just play Timo 5 mins at the start of the 1st and 3rd quarters. It will save a little wear and tear on Tristan and there is always the random chance that you stumble into a game where Timo doesn't have his head up his ass.

The problem is that Mozgov hasn't deserved to be part of the rotation this year. Every time he rises to dunk, I feel like he will miss in some spectacular fashion. And that's assuming he even caught the pass in the first place. Plus his defense has seriously declined.

Why tho

It's like clockwork. His game translates far better as a bench player. I don't know if I have THE reason as to why, but it just does. His energy, hustling style just seems to translate better when he's playing against back-up bigs.

Why have Moz chasing Dirk on the perimeter? Lue made the correct match-up decision tonight.

He probably could have brought him when Zaza played but whatever, the lineup that was out there should have won and did win.
