I haven't finished the second season, but so far I've found it a little less funny than the first. If you liked 30 Rock though, this is definitely a show for you. It's got a dry, referential sense of humor more than laugh out loud funny, but the places it goes are quite silly.

I can see it happening. First season is getting worse as it goes.

This girl is a spitting image of an ex.. Looks and personality. Eerie honestly
 
I'm still a Survivor fan. I never watched the very first season and am re-watching it now. The lack of experience watching seasons play out for this first batch of contestants is so evident. The lack of strategy on some of their parts is almost comical now that the current game is instantly in strategy mode as soon as they step foot on the island. I mean, at the first merge, there were a half dozen different names written down with the one guy picking names based on alphabetical order. The alliance that eventually leads to the victory seems obvious now but was such perfect strategy then because so many of the players never seem to even consider it as an option.
 
Anyone else excited for Preacher? The comics were great and AMC seems like the right network to deliver on the source material
 
Upto date with the Veep. Veep is a very smart political comedy with excellent sarcasm and briliant word play. My only beef with the show is that it seems a bit linear and can seem slightly monotonous. If that does not bother you too much then, this is the show for you.

I saw the pilot and wasn't thrilled. I just saw it as a desperate grab of what's happening.

I started back up Friday night, and I'm blown away. From somebody who has to live with people like this everyday, it's dead on... and hilarious.

The end of season 1 is just pure gold when they invent middle out
 
Peaky fucking blinders is back! I caught last night excellent episode, but the full season 3 is available on Netflix right now.

Penny dreadful is also back. I think I'm the only person on this forum that watches this show, but this season has been outstanding thus far (5 episodes in).
 
I was surpied by the path . it wasn't as stupid as it looked.

I tried watching Penny Dreadful. Saw the complete first season. Season 2 was where I felt like i was not understanding what the heck was going on and did not bother watching it. I remember it being better that the Strain but that is more an indication of how poor Strain was.
 
Regarding Season 3 of Peaky Blinders, for people who have seen it in its entirety

Some really intense moments, sometimes really had no idea what may happen. Like when Michael had the gun pointed at John and Arthur. With the way John was talking I wouldn't have been surprised if he accidentally popped Arthur's head off

Priest was a total motherfucker. Super evil and best villain so far

Young Russian Duchess was super hot

Arthur had his Arthur moments, but disappointing to see him become kinda a pussy. At least John stepped up into his role.

Michael is great, as is Alfie. Polly is beyond insufferable, hope she dies at some point but doubtful

Thought there would be some showdown with the Christoph Waltz looking Russian fellow

Thought the ending was pretty brutal
