New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Rewatching:

The leftovers season two is the best television ever produced, by a landslide
I'm not so sure about that judging by the ratings the show has and the serious competition out there. Television right now is as good as it's ever been. I will give this show a chance though.

I think got is the greatest show ever. Then again I'm not as experienced of a television watcher as some people. Some notable shows for me:

Rick and Morty, probably the best animated show in existence at the moment.

Peaky Blinders

Mr. Robot

Homeland

Penny dreadful, the show was fantastic up until the rushed ending

Silicon Valley

Daredevil

Breaking bad

Ratings mean nothing.

The wire was on life support its entire run. This isn't a show you can just pick up halfway through. It doesn't lend itself to ratings, and a lot of it is superstition vs. Religion which will turn a lot of ppl off, but it really is neitherof the two. Anyways, hbo is more Google than enron and supports good tv bc it knows long run, it will get it's credit bc it's due

And the first season is so painful and fucked up, it Is genuinely difficult to get through. It is still very good and the last two episodes are.. Perfect.

And then season two they changed directions, but by then it lost many viewers.

All that said, landslide.

Mr robot and breaking bad are my next two. Robot went a little hackey wuth the fight club easy out. I would rate higher of not for that.

Breaking bad is a very close second for me, but leftovers is the best writing and dialogue, bb is the best premise. A couple seasons were miss for me. Season four couldn't be closer to season two of leftovers for me, but the ending season went off the rails and kinda lost me on bb a bit. The super enemy wasn't very super and some comic booky stuff started to happen.. Magnets etc.

Leftovers is the underdog, I'll push it till I die.

The first season, again, is a practice in masochism, but the last episodes, you will understand what I'm talking about.

Season two you will agree with me entirely. It's acting is second to none, the depth, the uniqueness, the writing, the character development, the twists that you will never in your life see coming.

S1 last episode a s2 e6 and s2 last episode are just perfect. Perfect. I cried no less than 5 times last episode s2 over the tying up of loose ends of five different sub plots

That's what I've heard, but I can't get myself to get through season 1, which was so difficult to watch for me. Do I need season 1 to enjoy season 2?

Yea. Gotta push through. You only need to force through to the last couple of episodes. I think I basically zoned out until the last two and then I was stuck to the show once they hit.

Added Zoo to my Netflix que.

Two episodes into Peaky Blinders. It's dragging. I'm not quite sure the point. There's nothing BA about Tommy Shelby.

Keep going. Season two and Tom Hardy are worth it.

Shelby got more BA. 6 in. Almost to Tom Hardy.

Preacher got a little more interesting with last night's episode. It looks like all hell is about to break loose.

Anyone seen 'The Night Of'? Heard it brings back memories of True Detective and The Wire. Going to give it a go tomorrow night.

Series 2 of Peaky Blinders was great. Three in for series 3. I wish they'd develop antagonists well for rival gangs. I just never care.

Season 2 of Mr. Robot starts wednesday. Curious how they handle it.

Watched The Night Of last night. First episode was terrific, can't wait to see more.
