NBA Finals Game 4: Warriors @ Cavs, June 10, 2016, 9:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That one hurt bad. I feel like I just watched my dog die right in front of me.

i dont have a dog but its the same thing because since we live in Cleveland and we luckily get the moons to align to get 3 players that are great including one of the GOAT. Somehow, Golden State happens and that is all you have to say about that. Its just easier to say I am from Cleveland than the whole first part of this post and you get the same idea.

I really feel the pain for you Clevelanders, but you have to realize there is no shortcuts in building a winning team and franchise. It has to start from the front office, and trickle down to the last player...
This team can't be runned by LBJ as great as he is. He insisted on the Love trade, He is responsible for the outragous TT contract, He eliminated a good coach and so on...
When you don't do things the right way, you can have all the the talent in the world (which the Cavs do have, in my opinion we are the most talented team in the world) but you still won't win...

the warriors are literally the best team in NBA history. if not for that, your shortcut theory means nothing. it's called timing

Please go away..

The NBA has to prove that every champion is legit. Either that or they just hate Cleveland (Danny Crawford certainly does). Either way, we've been playing 8v5 all Finals long and that's not changing.

Disagree. Defensive rebounding and Lue's rotations lost this game.

It's a one game series now.

I still believe in this team. I don't think the Warriors are better. We figured out how to beat them, and then we did NOTHING like last game.

We gotta win the next game. Go Cavs!

Warriors are just the better team.

But we shit the bed tonight. No way around it.

Winning by 30 was not good for us. Instead of inspiring us, it merely let guys think they could drop the effort level down. But that's not surprising, as that has been the theme of the whole season.

I gave us no chance in this series to begin with, but watching how completely stupid and lazy we have played is shocking.

This team has to make major changes moving forward if there is any hope of winning a title. Shump, Frye and Delly have all been completely useless this series. The fact that there was even a debate as to whether or not it was good for Love to be cleared is all you need to know about him.

LeBron just can't carry the team any more. The Warriors have consistently made him a low efficiency offensive player and our whole team is built around him being an unstoppable force to the opposition.

This is some depressing shit.

Disagree. The 96 Bulls had a better winning percentage and frankly were a better team.

God I'm so ****ing disappointed right now.

I really cared about this game.

I'm pissed at lebron, I'm pissed at Lue, I'm pissed at Love.

The only guy I'm not pissed at is kyrie, he brought it tonight, and last game, and even the first game (supposedly a bad game, sometimes shots don't fall).

He was told to switch on PR's and he did (bad coaching).

He was told to take a step back on offense, and he did (game 2)

He was given the greenlight and told to handle curry in game 3, and he did (we won)

And he gave it his all tonight but he can't do it by himself

I don't think it's even that.

I think Kevin Love is literally just not playable against Golden State. It really sucks. One team literally changes the way we feel.about a guy we traded for to be part of our big 3 . If we played OKC or S.A., Love would be much more playable , much more useful, and less criticized...but this Golden State team is the perfect storm and unfortunately for the Cavs that storm is happening during our peak championshop window.

At least we know that Kyrie is a fucking bonafide stuff and a good fit. But Love just doesn't bring what we need to the table to beat this Warriors team and it's painfully obvious.

At least in the first half we like, went to him in the post and got him good mismatches. He wasn't that bad, but all that we got in he 2nd half was Love trying his ass off defensively, which I give him personal credit for, but when he is running around the perimeter,he doesn't have the speed to agility to make up for all that space and he becomes invisible around the rim which is where we started getting destroyed.

The Warriors truly are a historically great team because the Cavs are really good and would probably have beaten OKC or SA like a drum but Golden State is just so fucking good.

I'm just sad, man.

I'm really not sure we would have beaten the Spurs or OKC but I am sure we wouldn't have beaten them like a drum. It's the weak EC that sends fans here to an illusion that we were this unstoppable team, but we actually were playing cans...

Wrong. They covered their sins with offensive rebounding.

Had we simply taken care of the defensive boards, we would have won.

LeBron didn't box out at all this game. Love was worthless on the boards, too. This was effort and rotations. Simple as that.

We didn't lose because of the W's shooting.
Actually we had more offensive rebounds than the Warriors and were only Outrebounded 43-40.

Warriors set an all-time Finals record by making 17 threes.

Meanwhile we missed 19 of 25 threes.

They outshot us. Facts are facts.

If refs arent calling those body shots in the 2s its really going to matter alot
Fair...

but Lue does no complaining to the refs. LeBron James is averaging just 4 fts a game. Unbelievable.
I really think so too. It happens.

TWO 30 point games all playoffs long, he used to have those in his sleep. CRAZY. sad. but it's the reality here.
Maybe so...but you'd think of all year he'd been rested to try and put up 30 this years finals. If he's more aggressive in the first half they might have won.
2 days of rest on the remaining games between games is going to help alot

Fuck this 1 day rest in this 2 consecutive Cavs home game
Same thing as last year....it killed us game 4..

Disagree. The 96 Bulls had a better winning percentage and frankly were a better team.

you're probably right but the point is the bulls would beat the cavs too. if you're playing one of the best teams in NBA history smart money says you'll lose. it has nothing to do with a shortcut

the heat took a shortcut too

I said it before when the announcers were sucking the Warriors ducks trying to convince America that the refs letting both teams get away with fouls was even for both teams.

We are a paint team and like to run offense inside out. GS is a perimeter team. So letting contact go on both sides doesn't help us because we rely on the paint more

But the refs knew this and that's why they called this game like that.

It's not random that in that stretch the Warriros hit like 4 3s and we simply had no idea of what to do. They were hacking us to hell
