Not being 1-31 would play much better. This is the kind of move that will play well with future FA's
This is the football equivalent of a cash considerations trade in baseball- it takes a player exposed to waivers and gets them to the team they want to go to instead of getting snagged on waivers by, say, the Marlins or Rays or a team owned by Jimmy Haslam. That's all it is. Moving up from to the 6th is a negligible move.Better than getting nothing, move up what? 4 spots.
Only players with less than 4 years of service are subject to the waiver wire. Not being 1-31 would play much better.

we are like the Pats AAA team. These guys cant fit or play here but can play for the best team in the country.
And Bellicheck. They’ve now acquired a grand total of two home grown Browns in Sheard and Shelton.
