Cleveland Browns Quarterback Position

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Also noteworthy that’s the first time Albright has wavered from darnold at 1 in a long time

He had been screaming it from the fucking mountaintops for weeks now

He did clarify that he was just having fun with that particular post, says it’s Mayfield or Darnold.

So bizarre how fast the narrative changed.

Eh just having a little fun huh?!

Can I get a motherfucking HEE HEE?!?!?

The fans shouldn’t come into play at all when it comes to the draft and strategies

You gotta relax man. We will know soon enough. Try not to get so swept up into the noise

I know man.

Just feels a bit insane and a bit abnormal compared to years past.

Well that changed quickly for him..

This morning.

12 hours later. :chuckle:

Alright. I'm Calling it Now. Baker is Going to be our pick. I already feel like I wrote a book the last few pages why. And the two main concerns for both are size and system. I feel most of us are over the size thing now.. so on to system.

Nick Fucking Foles just beat Tom Brady in the Superbowl...Doug Pederson is synonymous with the acronym RPO now. That's all you heard during the game was about Pedersons RPO offense. Since 2013, the run-pass option has taken off. “Pro-style” shouldn’t refer to formations, because NFL and college offenses are now perhaps as similar as they’ve ever been. Primarily Spread offenses with half of the NFL in gun 50% or more now.

Pederson has stated where he originally picked up on utilizing the run-pass option in 2013 with the Chiefs and Alex Smith, under GM good ole John Dorsey. Alex Smith, Rodgers, Dak, Cam Newton, Wentz, Dalton, Roethlisberger, all benefit from RPO.

Kinda funny because when you look at that list, our front office and those making the decision, have ties with 4 out of the top 5 teams. Todd Haley was asked about what "system" he uses when he came here and he stated he didn't have one, but instead would and will continue to build his offense and system around the talent he has and what best suits them as well. Hm.

I think we can all agree Mayfield knows how to Run a spread based RPO and counter RPO system...Damn good.

Maybe I've watched the movie "the number 23" too many times and trying to connect too many dots. But going with my gut an saying I truly have a feeling it's going to be Mayfield.

From a few days ago, Baker meeting up and sitting down with Russ, pretty cool I thought just seeing the two have a conversation.

Hee Hee!
It’s hard to get over how much Russ:

1) Loves himself
2) Talks about himself
3) Leans far too close and invades his interviewee’s personal space

Awwww, don't take it so hard bub. I want to be here for the meltdown if Allen goes #1.:badair:

If Allen goes #1, there’s going to be many more people than @AZ_ having a meltdown. He’s a mid round project QB in a draft with a ton of talent. A meltdown is an appropriate response to drafting Josh Allen #1 overall.

Anyone who is changing his pick at this point has either been played at some point (now/earlier/both) or is being disingenuous.

Dorsey has known the pick for a while and kept it close to the vest, it’s not like it’s changing or being communicated down the chain. All of what’s coming out this week is pure noise.

I really hope this is just a case of Dorsey trying to find out where the leaks are coming from and he told different people different things.

There is NO conversation happening at this point, Dorsey knows who his guy is. I would be beyond stunned if he’s still debating it. It’s either been Baker all along or this is smoke.

I think Dorsey is trying to get the Jets to move up from 3.
