Cleveland Browns Quarterback Position

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not drafting a QB, I mean fuck it, any of the top 5 that Dorsey feels is right, at #1, would be like farting in the car during the winter. No matter what you try to do, you are still fucked.

Don’t get cute with #1. Draft your QB - go from there.

From a few days ago, Baker meeting up and sitting down with Russ, pretty cool I thought just seeing the two have a conversation.

The idea that teams in the top 5 will be caught off guard/have no gameplan for ANY pick the Browns make is ridiculous. Any dumbass could spend an hour or less coming up with a pick/contingency plan for every possible situation in the top 5... and these people are being paid serious money to do it.

None of these teams employ Ray Farmer as their GM.

Yup. Just showing the link. Tried but still nothing but a link even tried embedded from YouTube the whole code and no go. No biggie

You have to use media=youtube then put the digits at end of link, then close it off with / media

This was probably the only good episode of the Russell Wilson draft shows. JT's was boring, Barkley's was just back and forth talking about how great each other are, and Mason Rudolph cut off Wilson after almost every sentence during his. I miss Gruden's QB camp.

The more research I do the more I just don't see Baker failing.. he always gets better the higher the competition.. everyone has seen by now the accuracy issues and patterns dating all the way back to high school with Josh Allen , but on the flip side , Baker has always been a winner and accurate QB .

Baker in high school played 2 years..his Junior and senior year. Very first year Won a state championship as a junior. In the two years and 29 games, he put up:

6,255 yds passing. 429/666. 64.4% comp.
67 passing td's to only 8 ints.

1124 yds rushing, 14 rushing tds

Walks on at Texas Tech as a freshman and starts day 1. First walk on freshman to ever start game 1 in BCS history...Very first game he goes 43/60 72% for 413 yds and 5 total td's. Named big 12 offensive player of the week first week as a true freshman. Texas tech Starts off 5-0 for the first time since 2008 until Baker gets hurt and Davis Webb took over. In those last 8 games with Davis Webb as the starting qb, Texas Tech goes 3-5..Baker then transfers to OU and the rest is history. The dude has always been accurate, efficient, doesn't turn the ball over. Simply a game changer that wins. Even as a true Freshman on a 8-5 team, getting hurt and only appearing in 3 more games that season, he still posted a 64.1% comp. Percentage which was the lowest of his QB career. Since a 16 year old kid, he has been between 64.1%-71% in accuracy. In any system and on any team. And has won at every level. Dude gets it done.

In 77 games played in his career since a junior in high school, Baker has put up

20,862 yards passing. 1455-2163 . 67.2% 198 passing td's to only 38 ints.

Another neat stat in regards to Darnold and fumbles. Throughout his entire 4 year college career, Baker only had 5 fumbles lost.

Noteworthy: Allbright also said several teams have Rosen off their board completely, cites things “public is unaware of.” Whatever that means.

It's been my opinion since November that Rosen is forcing his way through back channels on to a New York team and acting like a prick to certain teams that aren't on his list. Nothing since November has dissuaded my opinion. The reason he will get away with it is that the NFL would like everyone to forget this has been going on with quarterbacks with star potential since the late 1970s. And it was about that time I embraced Sam Darnold as the future #1 overall pick by the Cleveland Browns. Its late April for the love of Moses, and Rosen hasn't played in half a year. If I'm wrong, feel free to give me shit, but it's been pretty obvious to me whats happening at the top of this draft for nearly half a fuckin' calendar year. Ive just been over the debate like it's a purple dinosaur singing.

Also noteworthy that’s the first time Albright has wavered from darnold at 1 in a long time

He had been screaming it from the fucking mountaintops for weeks now

I think the rest of us would be less anxious if they'd just tell us, for sure they want Darnold.

I know there's some gamesmanship going on with the 4th pick, but it really is driving those that cover the fanbase and their fans insane.

It's providing a lot of clickbait, but damn man...when was the last time we've had this long of a debate about who's going number one overall? My mind is blank.

The fans shouldn’t come into play at all when it comes to the draft and strategies

You gotta relax man. We will know soon enough. Try not to get so swept up into the noise

It's time for a lesson in media literacy in this century. Every time a mock draft changes, a corporation gets it's wings. They get ad revenue for tens of thousands of clicks. This site gets ad revenue as well, we just try not to be assholes about it.

So I ignore every new mock that has the Browns trading down for _________to nab their new franchise quarterback. That lack of cemented #1 pick makes a lot of corporations money.
