The good thing about Hickson, is that a lot of his problems look they are easily fixable... A lot of it has to do with him being so raw and not having too much experience..

But did that just happen?

Did Fred McLeod just say what I thought I heard him say?

"Hickson will get some dap on the sidelines from his teammates, after that play."

JJ gets good position. He just doesn't finish fast enough. He is in all the right places. That basket and that put back show just how much talent he has...he just needs to speed his game up and understand this isn't college anymore.
 
This preseason game has only been positive to me. Sasha, Boobie and Mo are all being super aggressive and it is paying off. We are watching Hickson learn real time.

A lot of defensive breakdowns though...but...we have a lot of new guys.
 
Bad pick and roll defense by Andy followed up by Hickson not being in position to stop it.
 
Gibson looks GREAT tonight..

He really looks like he knows how to use his speed during the game now, something he hadn't done much in the past.. He's crossing Piston defenders up because he's using his speed so well--stoping and starting..

He's getting to the rim--and being aggressive about it too (I like it)--and is looking like a lot more than a spot-up shooter...

Get some work in on that floater and he looks to be a possible 6th man of the year candidate...
 
Hickson looks like Varejao out there on offense. He gets the ball, pump fakes about 234 times then gets stuffed. Just go up strong!
 
Boobie is playing very good tonight.
 
I know this is off topic...but that damn bitch that keeps screaming in the crowd...those kind of bitches make me want to slap a hoe.
 
Fred McLeod should never say "grimaced" and "Z" in the same sentence, I thought he hurt is back again.

Pavs tweaked his ankle. He has been going to the hole strong lately though which is a good sign
 
Boobie- Seems to actually want to penetrate now, and I think he's learning from Mo.
Mo- Beast.
Sasha- Aggressive, but it's not going his way all the time. Hopefully he'll get into a groove soon. (I write this and then he dunks all over the Pistons)
Andy- Still playing HIS game, getting rebounds, setting picks, being the hustling player out there. Very good to see.
JJ- He shows flares of awesomeness, but it making a LOT of rookie mistakes. Mike Brown better rip him a new one on those defensive assignments he is blowing. I'm sure he'll learn and develop well.
