I'm not, but at the same time I'm not naive enough to think that this will be the Browns' turning point. Maybe it will be, as it certainly seems like we're on the verge of turning it around, but it feels that way with damn near every regime and I'm always left watching a new GM give his press conference as the old one was fired two years before he had a chance to build anything.
This is the turning point. Jump aboard the hype train.
This offseason has been unlike any we've had in the past 20 years. Forget the past - look at the NOW. Don't be one of those fans that shower everyone in doubt non-stop and wait until we're playing well then start getting hyped.
The AFC North is going downhill. It's one of the worst divisions in football, with the only good team being the Squeelers. Their time is coming though: Ben is old, Bell just wants to be paid, and Brown is no spring chicken himself. They lost Haley, have a more depleted O-Line, and haven't addressed their weak defense much at all.
This IS the turning point - even if we don't blow everyone away in 2018, we are speeding in the right direction.
