Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Who’s trading the second? Not us right?

It sounds like us. Don’t worry, it won’t be on our own. I’m sure it’s one of the 6 we’ve already accrued. Probably sending the least appealing one.

Oh and it would be nice if we had an actual front office and not just dan and his puppet.

Should give us more wiggle room to take on salary if they took both in with a trade exception. Also I wonder if we gave up a 2nd rounder to the kings, maybe another comes back with a trade exception.

Cavs starting to build their draft capital again... Heres hoping that this time they have capable people handling draft talent evaluation... Last rebuild Cavs wasted a bunch of 1st overall, top 10 picks, 1st rounders and high 2nd rounders... You could argue that only Kyrie lived up to his draft position... Wiggins, Waiters and TT are kind of average to meh for their draft position, did really get good value. .. . Then there a long list of disappointments in Bennett, Zeller, Karasev, Felix...

Gilbert needs to trust himself and cut the number of voices down.

Zeller wasn't really a disappointment as he just wasn't a impact player..just a rotational player.
Bennett..now that was a freaking huge mistake .
Chris Grant just didn't know how to draft. Yet he always tried to sell/spin his decisions.

Grant wanted nothing to do with Bennett.

I don't believe this is true. Yes, he voted against drafting Bennett but he still drafted him regardless. He was the GM and the decision was his to make. We have never heard who Grant actually wanted to draft a #1. I've come to the conclusion he actually didn't have a guy, he just wanted to trade down. When the trade down didn't become an option he had to draft someone and went with who his staff recommended.

Bennett IS the worse number 1 pick of all time...

But here I go... I'm going to say it...

It wasn't as bad as a pick as people think... (dodges rocks thrown at me)

I personally wanted Oladipo only because I was at the Indiana Ohio State game where he lit OSU up. But No one in that class looked like they had star power potential... Except for Bennett... (ducks again).

Cavs attempted to trade down. But no one wants the #1 pick in the weakest draft class in NBA history.

Bennett appeared to have the best potential. Super athletic (when not fat and wheezing), could shoot the 3, and post up. Looked like a lock to play well next to Kyrie with P&R

You can't control guys work ethic and how soft they are mentally.

I don't really blame Grant for taking him (and supposedly he did not want him).

Honestly, it doesn't matter. Whoever we took would have been traded for Love anyway.

Brown and Griffin wanted Bennett. That is fact. Gilbert had too many cooks. The head coach was in the end given to much power in drafting, which TT, Waiters and Bennett got thumbs up from.
