Well...the Clippers should be damn good defensively with Kawhi and the PG13 trade, they just went all in!

Also huge question marks with OKC now.
 
A team like the Magic need to trade for Russ. A salary dump basically.
 
Good fuck Toronto and the Lakers. It’s just too bad he’s going to a non existent fan base. Team should be very fun though.

That’s four or five more years of eastern conference contention.

Let Gilbert go back into the war chest and payroll tax our way back to a few more roll players???

I mean Westbrook is a full meal and would destroy the East...

I actually like that he's going to a no-bandwagon team. Even if it were Toronto (which I'm not mad at, that might be a controversy in Cavs fan circles, but I'm sorry... that team is not the Heat, Bulls, or Celtics in the grand scheme of things). I'm glad it wasn't the Lakers. LeBron is gonna have to earn #4 honestly like ... apparently, every other team in the league now.

This might be the best offseason ever. KD is gone, there was no 3 Peat, Kyrie left the Celtics, Lakers and Clippers sold the farm to get what they wanted, the Cavs drafted very well.

The NBA is going to look very different now. Even the Bucks weakened a bit by letting Brogdon go to Indiana, which in turn, strengthens their team.
Raptors just became the Miami Heat of the last couple of seasons.

GOOD.

Fuck the Warriors in the goat ass.

I can't wait for Steph Slander season to go into overdrive.

Lottery picks are great to get but unless you also get lucky and have that pick end up at the top in the right draft year, you are still likely looking at good but not franchise changing talents. The Clippers overpaid for George, but it is clear that the trade and getting Kawhi were linked so they paid a big price to not be irrelevant for the next 4 years.
 
If I were the Cavs, I’d be kicking the tires on SGA.

If Garland is our building block, Sexton + JR for SGA. Give them a bit more cap relief and a young player. Maybe even a 2nd?

SGA / Garland pairing would be perfect to build around. Just skill match wise.
