2019 Series #32 | Indians vs. Royals | July 19th, 20th, and 21st

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I guess there's no "out of the baseline" running around home plate and diving back to avoid a tag? I doubt you could get away with that at any other base.

I think you should be forced to run directly through the catcher at all times.

Or you can just put a 2nd home plate out there like the 70 year old softball guys do.

So far not great .. but damn has the park changed a bit. When did these standing room areas get added to left field? Love being here though. Still trying to find where the pitch count is at. Got some beers and heard Plesac had 47 pitches in almost 2 innings

Edit: Frankie saves the day

The LF standing room was added a while ago. Four years now maybe? I love it there--I've sat in my seats fewer than 5 times over the years. I just stand in LF every game.

If you're standing out in LF, look up towards the upper deck of RF and you can see the pitcher's balls, strikes, total number of pitches.

Yeah I must have been sleeping and didnt notice the upgrades they did. Moved to Boston 3 years ago and didnt keep up with it. Saw the renovations the Q did and liked it. Wish I was here for the all star game. Loving it here so far and finally found the pitch count :chuckle:

Curious I know if there is an infield injury that the Indians can move Lindor into the game from dh

Curious though what else do we do in case of infield emergency other than Columbus or Akron

A DH can be moved to the field, but the DH slot will then be lost for the game and the pitcher must bat in the slot vacated by the replaced fielder.

That I know ... my question is who do we have as an emergency infielder

I am aware of Freeman and you will note this question started using as an example Lindor entering this game

Who do we have other than Freeman ... Carlos to 3rd and shuffle ?

I mean, Jose can play 3/4.

Who are you replacing? The answer would vary depending on who you need to replace.
