2019 Series #34 | Indians @ Royals | July 25th, 26th, 27th, and 28th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
"Fuck Trevor Bauer"
"Scrub"
"Have to trade him now"
"Child"
"Mental midget"
"He can go fuck himself"

Very level-headed and not the least bit hypocritical responses from those criticizing a guy who had an emotional, impulsive moment.
Oh hey one of my responses in there. I stand by it, Ive had enough of the dudes shit. FUCK him.

Its honestly surprising this happens as little as it does. Especially given how young these guys are and how much pressure they’re under. These guys are under extraordinary pressure every game and a lot of them deal with personal issues as well, like anyone else.

Shit’s gotta build up right?

It’s 100% forgive-able and I’m glad he apologized to his dudes and hope he understood why it would have looked shitty. Now you can expect a few days of national media guys claiming it isn’t, that he didn’t and that he won’t. Regardless of how smart a kid he is.

Granted, I don’t know that this doesn’t make him a liability on the field. Not my job to determine. I’d be concerned.

Stress produces an atmosphere ripe for revealing your greatest strengths and/or weaknesses. Cleaning up the
aftermath will be something to watch. Sure looked like the club had a good mojo going on before all
this stuff.

It’s like a cut scene from major league honestly. I’m sure he got his from Tito afterwards. He fucked up. Astros tuesday.

Right, end of the day, it's inexcusable and he owned up to it. I think we can also acknowledge there were no shortages of excuses. His name has been in the news for weeks, he's sick and didn't have his best stuff, errors/misplays from Bauers and Mercado, his misplay on Alex Gordon's dribbler. Certainly builds up.

The thing with Trevor, how is he going to handle all the nasty tweets coming his way? He is very easily riled up on Twitter anyway. It could be brutal on there for him the next few days. Personally, if it were me, i think i would stay the hell away from social media for a while after these kinds of events.

Guess that puts the wraps on Bauer trade speculation. Never been a big fan of his, but maybe such an embarrassing moment will get his head straight.

I was really hoping we could find a desperate suitor and cash him in for some offense. Just don't trust the guy in high pressure situations.

The game can be emotional. Bauer was sick, he's a perfectionist, and is super competitive. I rather a player be too competitive and be over the hill about it, than a player be nonchalant.

He probably shouldn't have even pitched. He clearly didn't look well enough today under the weather. But goes out there in 90 degree heat and gives it his all. I can't not love a guy that's dedicated to his team like he is.

I really want to go into the post-season with Kluber, Bieber, and Bauer as my rotation. That's a fucking dynamite rotation to roll out there.

This team is so deep with starting pitching. Going forward, Bauer will be gone. As of now, he's still our top pitcher at the moment (with Bieber). I just don't see how it makes any sense to move him going into a post-season run.

I wonder how Bauer will score this on his body metrics/daily goals spreadsheet.

I'm glad he apologized, and he did seem sincere, but that was Exhibit A of why I can't consider him ace material. It's not his stuff, it's his head. It's always been his head.

Everyone loses there cool, should he have done that no, but is it worse than beating up a water cooler? No not really.
It’s pretty widely viewed as extremely disrespectful to the manager if you even do a little underhand toss to him instead of handing him the ball

Bauer launched the ball 400 feet out of play

Yeah, it’s pretty clearly worse than beating up a water cooler.

Disagree with this. Beating the shit out of a water cooler still isn't a great thing to do, but pretty much nobody at the ballpark or on television really sees you do it, and it's not disrespectful as hell to your manager and the opposing team.

Everybody in the world saw Bauer launch that ball. Water coolers get punched every week.

I think it's better to at least attempt to hide your frustrations in the dugout then to hold up play by launching two baseballs, scare the shit out of your second basemen, and disrespect your manager by not respecting his decision to pull you when you don't have it and launching the ball.
