We didn't need a three. Why wouldn't you go pick and roll with Sexton, who for the most part, is getting where he wants.
It's a bad play.
It's not like Love was red hot from 3 in this game. Only made 2. It made no sense to go to him for a three.

Guys, we want to lose games like this. This was perfect. You will all be happy in April, believe me.
Sexton was ripping them up and they go away from it when it matters most. Have to question those last few posessions.
Tristan fucked us hard with his dribbling exhibition and 40 foot pull up with 4 seconds on the clock. That whole sequence was screaming for a timeout.

They really pissed that game away. TT trying to look like Iverson and Sexton dribbling the air out of the ball.

I was just shocked Clarkson actually passed the ball there. Everything kinda fell apart after that Tristan mishap. Good game though.

Very very impressive result though overall. Philly announcers raving about the Cavs right now.
The team needs to learn how to close out games, but damn if we aren't much further ahead than anyone would've thought before the season.

Sexton is really the only closer we have. He scored the last 6 points for the Cavs. Everyone else was ice cold for the last 8:22.

I think we needed Delly in there to run the show. Sexton and Clarkson played too out-of-control. But I definitely would have gotten Sexton the ball, on the last possession. Wasn’t too confident in that Love 3-ball.

The issue right now for the team is we basically have no guards who like to run an offense. Garland is shook most of the game and Sexton and Clarkson are roughly the same player.
So it gets late in the game and the offense falls all to hell.
Also, Tristan let Embiid get in his head and tried to do way to much on 3 or 4 possessions late.
