Game Thread 2019-20 Season Game #10 | Cleveland Cavaliers @ Philadelphia 76ers | Nov 12th, 2019

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yea, everyone saying "give Sexton the ball" are kinda forgetting Sexton was coughing it up late. He didn't look like he wanted the ball.

Honestly that last play was fine the Cavs just got REALLY unlucky on the bounce.

They went quick down 1, which is what you should do. Had Philly just grabbed the ball the Cavs coulda fouled and had another crack at it.

I personally would have like Beilein to keep Garland in and run a play to try to get Sexton an open shot. I think they had four guys around Sexton on at least one of those turnovers.

I'm not sure what the solution is when you only have one guy able to score and everyone else is putting up air balls.

Great effort !!

Really enjoyed watching that game and this team...

Now I need the Browns to go get Bobby Bowden cause I’m digging the old school !!!

You still got to go with who can score. We are talking about over 8 minutes without anyone else scoring to end the game.

He needs more poise man. He plays way too wild for us to be relying on him late in games. How man times is he going to go straight at 7 footers? He did it 3 times tonight against Embiid. He did it 4 times against KP and Dallas. He did it 3 times against Robert Williams and Daniel Theis against BOS. He's feeling himself a little too much going into the paint.

If trying to win the game was goal 1 (which maybe it shouldn't be) then I dunno how they could justify putting Garland in over Clarkson when you need a bucket.

There's nothing about Garland right now that screams "Put The Ball In My Hands" in late game situations.

I agree he needs to grow but he still was the only person able to score. Not much of an option for the coaching staff. They decided to go away from him in the last 1:50 and it wasn't like anyone got off a good shot.

Between Garland, Sexton, and Clarkson only one of them can actually run an offense in any situation. Sexton and Clarkson cannot be depended on to run something. They'll try to score first.

I don't think we went away from him. We just lacked a leader on the court who could settle the game down and put everyone where they needed to be. Who was running the offense the last 3 minutes?

I think he would at least create some ball movement. The sixers could zero in on the person with the ball down the stretch and force them to take hard shots.

the two plays that killed us were TT going larry turd and Clarkson bouncing the air out of the ball.
