Fantasy Football 2019

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So I am up approximately 40 points in one league with Hunter Henry and either Damien Williams or Keenan Allen in my flex. My opponent has Rivers, Ekeler, and the Chargers kicker.

Is the better strategic move to play Allen in the flex to effectively neutralize Rivers since I'd have two of his top receiving options? Or is Williams the better play assuming he's a go for tonight? I'm leaning Williams because I always want the lead back in an Andy Reid offense, but I can definitely see the strategy in playing Allen instead.

This has been a nightmare year.

No matter what moves I make, or how well I drafted, I keep losing games because premium players keep shitting the bed.

What can one do.

This week's matchup is a perfect example of how the season has gone in all four of my leagues:

One can understand this shit happening in one league consistently, but all four? God hates me. Pretty certain. I think I may retire after this season. I'm tired of being pissed off every Sunday.

I needed a total of three points to win in two leagues.

And that stupid fuck Rivers blew my chances at the playoffs.

I'm 6-5 right now and the next two weeks basically decide whether I make the playoffs. I lost Marlon Mack, possibly for the season. This is what I'm thinking of starting next week. Have Maher and the San Fransisco defense. Who would you start? I'm uncertain about Adams vs Sutton and Ertz vs Andrews. Also trying to pick up Johnathan Williams to see if he can come in and play well for an injured Mack.

Mack may not be done.

That said, I might consider Hunt over Coleman.

I am fucking livid.

If Rivers was in my living room I would bash his head in with Mason Rudolph's helmet.

I am 5-6, 5-6, 6-5 and 6-5 in my leagues.

I have never not made the playoffs since I started playing in 2014.

Is anyone else just having a shit year for no particular reason? 3/4 of my teams are fantastic. Loaded at every position. I drafted well, filled all holes with trades. I am deep.

For example, in my Public League (led by Barkley, Fournette, Kupp, Edelman, Evans, Kittle, MG, Chris Carson), which I have never not finished less than 2nd in public leagues, is stupid hard this year? WTF? Who has ever had a competitive public league?

On top of that, I have the fewest points scored against me in that league by 150 points. And I am 5-6. How is that even possible?

I was thinking about that as well. Or Johnathan Williams if I get him over Coleman. But I feel like he's just in for a big week at some point.

My team in my money league is 7-4 (5th place) and m y team is (12 team league, 1PPR):

QB- Drew Brees
WR- Deandre Hopkins
WR- Odell Beckham
WR- Mike Evans
RB- Alvin Kamara
RB- Leonard Fournette
TE- Mark Andrews
Flex- Jamison Crowder

Bench- Carson Wentz, Robby Anderson, Terry McLaurin, etc some other scrubs...

On paper i should be murdering the league but it's been a weird year for me.

I feel like there are a ton of random last minute injuries this season and guys under or over performing like crazy. I played the #1 guy in my league who is up in points as well and my team was 1-3 at that point. He scored 155 by the night game and I had 3 players in the night game who all got me 30 points each. Ended with 166 on the day. Meanwhile, I played the worst team in the league two weeks ago and I couldn't score over 100 points... I've had at least 4 game weeks where the person I played against has beat me marginally but they had their best game week. I hate fantasy sports. Somehow being in 4th is still better than how shit my NBA fantasy team is doing.

Fantasy gods been shining on me for the first time in years. Last night I’m down 10 going against Mahomes and playing KC K Butler. Butler only scores 7 and I still manage to win by 1 point. 8-3, playing for a bye now.

So YOU did this!!!

Deshaun Watson both cost me a win and propelled me to a win.

8-3 (tied for first with a slight edge in points) in one league, 7-4 (tied for second but leading in points) in another league.

I feel as though I'm running on borrowed time right now in my 8-3 league - my running back situation has been decimated by injuries and ineffectiveness. I started John Brown and DJ Chark yesterday and still lost because I had virtually no production from either RB or my QB.

Would you trade (PPR)

Aaron Jones
Cooper Kupp

for

Julio Jones
Tevin Coleman

My other RB are Leveon Bell, Chris Carson, James White, Derrius Guice, Duke Johnson.
My other WR are Michael Thomas, Deandre Hopkins, Tyreke Hill, DJ Chark, Devante Parker

This is smaller keeper leauge, hence my collection of studs. I am the highest scoring team in the league. I don't need to make this trade. I am leaning towards NO. The increase by having Julio starting is not worth the thinning of my RB corps.

Not a chance.

I have available to trade: Tyreke Hill, DJ Chark, Cooper Kupp, Devante Parker

Other owner has at RB: Jacobs (keeper), Mixon, Ekeler, Miles Sanders, Hunt, Hyde

What's a fair offer (PPR)? Kupp for Ekeler? Kupp for Mixon?
