Fantasy Football 2019

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Apparently I can’t count on the Rams offense anymore. What the fuck.

I only need five points from Kupp.

My entire season is riding on it in that damn, stupid Public League.

The past two weeks are a microcosm of this year.

Blue Chip players shitting the bed utterly.

Kupp has killed me three straight weeks.

Did you get it?

I know Kupp deflecting that last pass for the INT saved a win for me as the other guy had Kupp going and was 2 points down before that play.

Clinched the playoffs last night in my money league. Currently sitting in second, first (by a wide margin) in points scored.

My team in the Yahoo league is fading because of my running back situation, but I still stand a great chance to make the playoffs in that league, too. Currently tied for first.

Not bad for a first year player, I think. I’ve definitely learned a lot and am already looking forward to putting that knowledge to work next year in the draft.

I've clinched a playoff spot in all my leagues (4) and am in the final 5 in a guillotine league.

I'm not super-pumped for my chances to win it all in a couple of those leagues, but I think I can make the money.

Rank these guys ROS in a .5 PPR, 1 pt first down league:

  • Saquon Barkley
  • Derrick Henry
  • Austin Eckeler
  • Leveon Bell
  • Philip Lindsay

1. Henry
2. Barkley
3. Bell
4. Ekeler
5. Lindsay

Might be rating Barkely too high. I feel confident with Lindsay as 5 though. Splits too much time in the backfield and isn't much of a pass catching weapon.

Hard not to trust Henry at the moment. He's been a beast and that offense has looked much, much better with Tannehill in place of Mariota.

Been playing fantasy football for 10+ years.

Never in my goddamn life have I been 2-10 before this year. This is torture.

Don't look now but my money league team that was 2-6-1 a few weeks ago is now 5-6-1 and in 6th place. Got a legit shot at the playoffs somehow.

Got a two-yard catch by Cooper Kupp with a minute left in a 45-6 game.

Won by .06 over the league's commish, to secure myself a playoff spot and eliminate him.

Suffice it to say, a hysterical ending.

I did get it.

The last pass though.

Still alive in that league. The other two I am in command of a playoff spot.

RBF League has been a clusterfuck from the start.

I have the most points in the RBF league by far. I also, however, have the second most points against. Thus 3rd place.

I would be shocked if you didn't win the league.

Your team is stacked and you drafted exceptionally well.

Not going to make the playoffs in that Public League because the 3rd and 4th place teams are playing each other, both with the same record and a game ahead of me, and that lost spot will go to the guy that has the same record as me, but far fewer points, because he plays a team that has no manager and has everyone on the bench.

Fantastic.

Soliciting opinions on 2 RBs to start in a full PPR. If Connor is somehow healthy, I would start him, but that’s looking unlikely. My overall poor choices (in no particular order):

-Montgomery @ Detroit, Thursday 12:30
-Scarborough vs. Chicago, Thursday 12:30
-Snell vs. Cleveland, Sunday 1:00
-Devonta Freeman vs. New Orleans, Thursday 8:20

I find Thursday games off short rest and prep to be especially unpredictable, and Freeman also coming off injury against a pretty good division D. That Pit v Cle game is also in my mind unpredictable, no idea how the Myles thing is going to impact how that is refereed and how the teams respond.

The Detroit/Chicago game should be low scoring and more run-focused I’d think, but Montgomery has perpetually underperformed and they just seem run averse, and Scarborough has had two decent weeks, but offers zero receiving value.

Any and all thoughts much appreciated!
