Debating who is better between Zimmer and Allen is like debating which is healthier: smoking crack or eating a slice of pizza that's been on a city sidewalk for three days?

Both options are depressing to consider.

I'm actually really rooting for Zimmer to stay healthy. I think he can be a 2-3 WAR guy this year for us.

He already has a 1.6 WAR season to his name in only 101 games.

The health is certainly an issue, but there's no doubt he has the ability to be a productive player when he can stay on the field.

Man... you should have said at least a 3.0 WAR.

Zimmer stays healthy and has an adequate offensive season, with his defense, he’s going to hit 2 WAR relatively easily.

The definition of "if Zimmer stays healthy" is key here. Is missing one game due to "general soreness" considered not being healthy? We need to set the minimum AB.

Leonys Martin was worth 2.4 WAR or better 4 years in a 6 year span from 2013-2018.

Granted, in 3 of those seasons he had 500+ PA and 143+ games played, which would be uncharted waters for Zimmer

332 PA and 299 AB got him to 1.6 WAR in 2017. It is really just a matter of opportunity and health.

And by opportunity, I mean he'll have to earn his spot initially, and that could prove difficult for various reasons.

WAR is a cumulative stat, not a rate stat, so if he manages 2+ WAR in fewer than 400 AB, he will have earned the right to dismantle your testicles.
