I like this concept.
Have to score them out on the latter picks too though. If they get three pro Bowlers all out of round 4 and a bunch of great depth 4-5 year after year but suck 1-3 we cant punish them. They still had success.
A metric system could easily be created grading every draft and they have to hit average point totals for all rounds, maybe using PFF or something similar.
If the fans experience success in a draft, the FO is given the option to continue using fan votes as long as it wishes. Front offices would love it I’m sure.
If a Browns draft was at risk of getting hacked by the Steelers for example, it would be like pilots flying a plane. There in case of emergency. Maybe the front office could work with some kind of cybersecurity firm to determine the actual will of the fans.
If it appears there’s some weird activity pushing a Punter rd 1 but real activity suggests a close choice between two WRs, the front office would be given a tight berth to select the top WR and overrule the Punter pick.
