2020 NFL Draft - Pick #115 - Harrison Bryant, TE, Florida Atlantic

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
His ability to find space is elite. That touchdown play was supposed to go to Hunt, Hunt didn’t get open, and Bryant improvised a bit to find space in the endzone. He’s going to be a great tight end.

Dropped one today but then also snagged a score. Hopefully he lets they drop to; had serious sip on it but he’s gotta reel that in. If Njoku can’t get his collective shit together he’s going to continue to be a staple.

I think Njoku's days are numbered in this offensive system. I'd be willing to trade him at this point, especially if it could bring back some defensive support.

He is, without a shadow of a doubt, a better blocker than I ever thought possible.

Wasn't that one of the knocks on him coming out of college?

Either way, I've been happy with him so far.

He basically played slot WR for FAU, not sure if it was out of necessity or he was just bad there.

A credit to both TE and OL coaches to get him to be this good this early. If they can get the same out of Njoku when he comes back, then our TE core will be flying.

He played offensive tackle most of his high school career. He doesn't have a prototypical frame to be an in-line blocking tight end, but his technique is good enough to get the job done.

I saw Waldman compare him to Dallas Clark, and that seems like a nice parallel. Nothing flashy, gets open as a second or third option on a play, gets the job done.

Looked like a baby Kittle out there today.

Can’t wait to see him continue to get bigger and stronger and more involved. He’s such an impact player in both the pass and run game. Stud.

He low-key is an incredibly active blocker, too.

It’s starting to feel like the Browns have an embarrassment of riches at the TE position.

I wouldn’t be sad if they found a way to move one (probably Njoku) for a good pick and/or a safety.

Dude is going to be a baller. His runs after catch are definitely Kittle like.

Not only that, but it just seems like the guy finds ways to get open.

I really think the Browns found themselves a gem. I started following him after he played OSU last year and really hoped he’d be in a Browns uniform someday. Glad he’s here. He plays hard and he plays smart.

As @Jordan touched on, Bryant's blocking has been really good this year. To my eyes, he's been our best tight end on the field, and the best blocker of the three.

You guys saying he looks anything like Kittle must be on that good shit. Those two aren't in the same galaxy.

I'm just happy with how good Bryant looks on the field, and knowing his work ethic off the field, it feels like this draft pick is one we hit on.

Yeah, I think Kittle has a claim to being one of the five biggest difference-makers in the NFL. Bryant can be a multi-time all-pro and never be that good.

But Bryant has definitely been the best TE on the field for the Browns this year. Hooper and Njoku have both had moments, but Bryant has a weird, shifty athleticism, gives a ton of effort, and has great hands.
