2020 Trade Deadline Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I agree that a 5-7 isn't going to move the needle much when you're trying to move up in the first two rounds

Mayock did it twice in the 2020 4th round.

EDIT: Sorry once, the other trade involved a player. I'd add that Hunter Renfrow was a problem for the Browns, and he was a 5th rounder on 2019.

Also probably important to note that 5th rounders can be traded for a full year of a vet in the off season rather than a short term fit for a few weeks in a year they aren't really a super bowl contender.

One argument I can make for trading for another DB is two recent draft picks that we've invested a lot in Greedy Williams, and Grant Delphit can't see the field. Delphit is going to be coming off an achilles tear and we don't know what the hell is going on with Greedy. I don't think either of those two guys can be penciled into the lineup next year just yet.

people keep saying “not a super bowl contender”

Were the Titans a super bowl contender last year? They were 1 game from playing in it.

The line in professional football is so damn slim to say we can’t compete for a super bowl once our best player is back in the fold.

I'd do Ronnie Harrison for a 5th rounder all over again.

I think it's more than just looking for help this season too. We just don't know if Greedy and Delphit are going to be apart of the future. It might be wise to make another move for a DB for some insurance at least.

Titans, Jaguars, Vikings, Falcons. There's been a lot of teams who nobody had making the Conference Finals that have been there recently.

Whoa!!!!

SF could start selling real soon

They already made one trade today. They'll probably make another move or two.

We're projected to be 4 million over the cap next year.

No doubt, but that can easily jump up if we don't sign Vernon, Richardson, etc...

We'll be in a much better position than the majority of the league, that's for sure.
