I’m going to lose sleep over that 3rd and 10 pass from McSorley. That conversion might have been the difference in the game. At the time, it sure felt like it.

It is what it is. Lost and now it’s on to the NYG on Sunday night. My only concern has to do with the fact, historically, emotionally and physically exhausting losses like this are tough to bounce back from. Hopefully they can do it.

Definitely read that as Jabrill LOL. I mean I get it Sendejo sucks but damn. Switching from beer to whiskey after that Baker INT is starting to rear its head.

The only thing that came to me tonight, when the maul hit the wedge, was that Joe Woods is an ass-clown. And no about if Red Stripe will wash away the bitter taste I currently have in my mouth.

We gave them like 3 first downs in about 40 seconds to allow them pretty solid field position for the best kicker in football...

Have to disagree with you HERE, @Mr. Orange. Lamar is and was no superhero. He’s a good runner and a bad passer, who happened to play against a rotten and depleted defense, with a clueless coordinator. What Baker did was much more impressive.

This Browns team, the 2020 Browns, are at their peak right now. Losing this game is a bummer, but this team is playing at their absolute ceiling right now. The offense is as elite as you can get. Baker appears to be a legitimate Franchise QB at this point, and right now I believe that to be the case. BUT - this defense is complete trash. This is something we have all known since before this season started.

Nothing that happened tonight was unexpected. The offense was incredible and the defense sucked. This is the 2020 Browns. And it's good! This is a playoff team and they are fun to watch.

But this team is not, and never was, a Super Bowl contender. No defense this bad can win a Super Bowl, it just can't.

To reiterate - this team is the best possible version of themselves that they can be. This is a good thing. This was a good game and a good performance, overall. They played as well as you can reasonably expect.

Beat the shitty New York teams, enjoy the playoff game(s), blow up the defense and gear up for Super Bowl contention starting next season.

A win tonight would have made the playoffs a near certainty. A loss made them much less so. We will likely need help. Now we need to beat the NY teams, and have someone beat the Colts, Dolphins, and Raiders, because ain’t nobody beating the Rats, in the next 3 weeks.

Once Lamar came in, which by the way was an awesome TV moment, you knew they were done. As a football fan, last night we saw something special by a special player. No shame in losing to an all timer. It really did feel as inevitable and helpless as when Jordan had the ball at the end of the game.

Raiders play dolphins in week 16. Dolphins then play Bills week 17. They will lose both of those. Itll likely he Ravens-Browns-Colts in that order unless we find a way to beat the Steelers.

What we saw on that 4th & 5 play was an absolutely awful play call and even worse execution by our secondary. We blitzed 3 non lineman, 2 of them right up the middle forcing Lamar out of the pocket. YOU DON"T DO THAT. They dropped Vernon back into coverage and he got tangled up with Mitchell allowing Brown to run free. Possibly the worst play call for that situation.
