The first 3 episodes nearly lost me, I got hooked after that. Then I watched episode 9 and they lost me again. I felt like Ralphie when he finally got his Ovaltine decoder ring.
I’d bet it’s quicksilver and we’ll find out more in dr strange. He’s probably the quicksilver from the X-men universe. The fuck ever happened to that subplot about the FBI witness? Did they ever wrap that up?
I think you're setting yourself up for disappointment.I’d bet it’s quicksilver and we’ll find out more in dr strange. He’s probably the quicksilver from the X-men universe.
Maybe. But I think it just makes sense with the strange movie being about the multiverse. And it would be the perfect opportunity to bring in the X-men from their universe.I think you're setting yourself up for disappointment.
I disagree. Whenever we get X-Men into the MCU, I think it's obvious it is going to be will all-new castings.Maybe. But I think it just makes sense with the strange movie being about the multiverse. And it would be the perfect opportunity to bring in the X-men from their universe.
Unless Ralph bohner was his made up witness protection name. Peters quicksilver was a smart ass so that wouldn’t be surprising at all.I disagree. Whenever we get X-Men into the MCU, I think it's obvious it is going to be will all-new castings.
The last two X-Men movies stunk, so there's no need to shoehorn in these actors and characters that nobody really cares about right now. Sure they could go that route, but I see no reason for them to do so.
Evan Peters was playing Ralph Bohner, but that's the end of the story there as far as I'm concerned. It was cool to see him "playing Quicksilver" in the MCU, but I don't believe it was a set up for anything more than what we've already gotten.
It would surprise me. He seemed like just a dude in the brief moments following the spell over him being broken.Unless Ralph bohner was his made up witness protection name. Peters quicksilver was a smart ass so that wouldn’t be surprising at all.
They might do another show with Scarlet Witch at some point, but I’d be shocked if they did season 2 of WandaVision.
I thought the ending was great. Seeing her studying the book while utilizing the astral plane was pretty cool, and a nice nod to what we can expect out of her moving forward.
It's the Scarlet Witch origin story and that's ultimately what this show was all about, setting her up as an immensely powerful being heading into her role in Dr. Strange's Multiverse of Madness.
I know we all get caught up in the fun of the reveals and Easter Eggs, but there was a really good story told here, and I'm glad they didn't muck it up down the stretch by relying too much on one big reveal after the next. This show was about Wanda, plain and simple, and her story was told wonderfully.
Yes, less than two weeks to Falcon and Winter SoldierThis thread, by nature, is a spoiler thread. I don't think people are dumb enough to come in here without having seen whatever the most recent thing to come out.
I was a little drunk last night watching it, so I'm going to give it a re-watch sober tonight. I liked it. I think the crew put a lot of shit in there to make people obsess over. Most people are still staying home alot and have a ton of time on their hands to let their imaginations run wild.
Bettany's joke about acting with someone he'd always dreamed of sent people to all kinds of lengths theorizing who it could be.
I liked it a lot after the slow start. The first few episodes were better on second watch.
What's next? Falcon and WS?
