Lots of people stand the test of time.

Jim Brown wasn't one of them. I've got a Jim Brown jersey, because every other player jersey I ever bought washed out of the league within two years, but we don't need to pretend he wasn't a piece of shit in his personal life just because he's a hall of famer.

With Lebron out: I was hoping the Bucks would win it this year but the Nets are so good even w/o Harden

It’s one game. The Nets role players were lights out on the home court m, as often happens. The Bucks role players bricked their threes on the road, as often happens. Let’s see how they bounce back and then see how things look when Milwaukee is at home before thinking we know everything about the Nets vs. Bucks
 
Brooklyn didn’t have Green or Harden playing and let’s not forget Spencer got hurt first week of the season. This team of 100 percent healthy is unbeatable.

Yep. Look at the Jake. You have a statute of an asshole (Feller) and a steroid user who left twice in FA (Thome).
 
You know what causes hamstring injuries......being lazy and out of shape in the offseason purposely so you get traded.

He will get a street named after him in 50 years. Also will get a life sized bronze at the hall of fame, but a statue near the arena ,probably won't happen, as long as Dan owns the team.

I’m under the impression statues were put up to acknowledge that player’s contribution to his team....not personal issues. If personal issues are held against them then a lot players in professional sports HOF Halls should not be there.
 
The Sixers always leave something to be desired.

Simmons simply needs to have a more consistent impact on the game than he does. This team is going nowhere.

He made comments he shouldn't have, but he definitely was not an asshole. And the 2nd time he "left", he retired after the next year.

All this to say, who fucking cares? He was a great player for the franchise. Get over your own feelings. Players move on.

The 76ers defense is SWISS CHEESE right now. They have no idea how to defend the Hawks, while the Hawks have definitely figured out a formula on their defensive end.
 
Embiid making twos and the Hawks making 3s and this is just the way of the NBA now and I'm not sure having a dominant low post scorer means a thing anymore. I don't know if you can ever, ever win a title with a back to the basket player being your best offensive player and leading scorer..
