2021 Draft Lottery

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I agree, hearing him speak, you can tell he is an intelligent kid. By mental make-up I was hinting more towards having that dog in him. And yes, also agreed...to me he makes a lot of sense in Orlando. They are beginning over in the rebuild and are less far along than us.

He reminds me a bit of Tim Thomas from back in the day. A guy I thought who had the NBA type body but just never really had that next level to greatness.
On the surface, yes, Orlando makes sense. However, no one loves length more than Magic President Jeff Weltman, so it’s hard for me to see him passing on the lengthy, do-it-all, Scottie Barnes. Weltman is likely to be infatuated with him.

I think Kuminga falls to 6th and, more than likely, OKC takes him, but it’s Sam Presti, so you never know what he might have up his sleeve.

Yeah, Presti was definitely a loser in the tank wars. Shia is getting to the point he wants to win. A bunch of assets, a bit of a bind.

Presti would be smart to try to trade up, but I doubt he’ll find any takers. There’s a bit of a ‘smartest guy in the room’ feel with him, so he probably feels like he’ll get great value regardless of where he picks. OKC has a history of extending promises, so they probably already know who they’re gonna take at 6, 16, & 18.

So help me understand this:
  • An RCF poster claims that Okoro went against Kuminga
  • The next morning Evan Dammarell makes the same point in his podcast
  • The same RCF poster also claims that Mobley worked out with the Cavs and went very well, while another RCF poster claims, according to his source, that it wasn't quite that way
  • Ben refutes all the above
Given that Ben knows his stuff, what is going on here? Where are people getting their random but seemingly specific info from? Is Evan's source RCF board? :conf (11):

I think the easiest answer is that Evan dude on Twitter is exactly what he's always been--someone who makes shit up for attention.

If you make me actually take a guess, I think Evan might have one source, who doesn't always feed him the full picture or accurate info.

Evan's source is an intern in the marketing department.

Podcast uses rumors on RCF or RichieRichpaul has the same source as Evan

I'm sure the Cavs put out alot of counterintel to see how it comes back to them. They know other front offices get info from message boards like this and a bunch of other sources. If they can figure out where certain teams are getting their info from then they can use that to their advantage down the line.

In one full swoop, Ben discredited a numbers of posters on this board as well as Evan Dammarell, who appears to be picking up his scoops from these very boards. There’s lots of guys piggybacking off of misinformation and claiming it as their own. This is a classic example of that.

Who is this "Ben" guy, and how do we know HE is legit??

With a name like "Ben", sounds like some computer nerd hiding in a basement somewhere.....sheesh.... :fight (9):

Oh boy... if he's reading this board that would hurt. He's not big enough to get enjoyment out of mean tweets.
