Really hate to jump on the "Dolanz is cheap" bandwagon, but I can't believe they couldn't lockdown Chet Haze and ended up with his nobody FATHER for the big announcement video.

Are there copyright issues if they use an image of one of the actual Guardians of Traffic as one of the logos? To me, the logo possibilities with the statutes was a major reason why Guardians was my top choice
 
I was hating on the name yesterday, but I also didn't know about the Guardians of Traffic. I think it's a cool homage to the city. I can get behind it.
 
Don’t mind the name, but I genuinely don’t care. Indifferent is a good word.

Dislike the logo.

Was hoping to see new colors and a full on rebrand if they were going to move on. Assuming this is being done out of respect to fans who are upset about the name change, I get it. Even if I’m personally not bothered by it.

The logo looks very 1980s Super Friends. Which…maybe the goal is to appeal to millennials and gen z and if so, I suppose that’ll do it from a font/logo standpoint?

Anyone help me here?
 
Welp, driving up to Cleveland right now to go to the game tonight, should be an interesting night at the ballpark

Once it was whittled down to a few names and they created logos/colorways/fonts and those groups were brought back in to see the concepts it was over and the choice was made easy for them.

Me personally, little generic, but a chance to create something unique in the sports world.

Also, for those who have been following the last few years...this is one of the Dolan's steps...

Noticed this as well, though it matches our current jerseys where the block CLEVELAND has no serif like our cap logo. Guess they really didn't want to rock the boat.
 
Here's a few ideas I can think of:

Bridge Guardian sleeve patch would be cool.
Art Deco font for names on uni's would be cool.
Keep the blue, but phase out bright red. I'm pretty sure the only reason they were red was because of the Indian name. Which is racist as hell.
