That was very weird...that will be challenged...and overturned.
 
Something had Zimmer fired up... I don't think I've even seen him so emotional before.
 
Franmil wasn't gonna get a pitch to hit.
 
Me thinks that Jose doesn't like pitches at his head.
 
Sadly Zimmer has 25 home run potential but he has settled in as a singles hitter. Only has 8 xtra bass hits on the season
 
For his career he has a 82 wRC+ against RHP which is perfectly fine if he provides good defense and baserunning.

Mercado has 86 wRC+ against LHP which is perfectly fine if he provides good defense and baserunning.

I think you can probably see what I'm getting at here, even if these players just follow career average numbers. While Zimmer is going to be 29 I still see some latent potential so I don't look at him as having already peaked.
 
I do not want to see an interesting bottom of the ninth. I want no excitement.

A ho hum easy inning will be fine with me.
