High A Lake County lost 3-2
Low A Lynchburg won 8-4

AAA Columbus is tied 4-4 in the top of the 9th.

On the night CLE affiliates go 2-2 with a run diff of -1
On the week CLE affiliates are now 4-4 with a run diff of -2

Curry and Allen continue to put on shows.

Curry...8 Ks...1 H...thru three.

Allen...7 Ks...2 H...1 BB...thru five.

Lavastida has a HR and double. Rocchio 2-3 with a double.
 
Curry continues to deal - 5IP 1H 0R 0BB 10K 66p 49 strikes
Noel with his 1st High-A RBI's with a 2 run single.

Allen is done for Akron - 6.1IP 3H 2R/ER 2BB 8K 1HR 91p 62 strikes
Rocchio now 3-4 with a run and rbi

Edit. Curry's night is done.. Only 66 pitches, figured they would have sent him back out there for at least one more inning.

IMO pitching is still the name of the game and it sure looks like we have it coming in spades.

Some of it should be MLB ready by mid season next year.

Pitching prospects are especially volatile and prone to attrition, but in addition to quality, we seem to have quantity.

Agree..

Allen and Curry are coming along nicely, want to see how Curry's stuff plays up in AA/AAA..

Also even though his results aren't great, this Arias-Bautista guy in Low A has something cooking numbers-wise. Not bad for a guy we signed as an undrafted free agent. He turns 23 on 1/21.
