Just saw that 14 min workout with Adam and man this kid has moves. He just needs to bulk up and he’ll be fine.

I would love Adams on this team for Mobley to work on his strength.

He's going to change the game for PFs in the league. Teams will be adjusting to the Cavs for once. Is Devin Booker sure about taking it out on Cleveland one night? Because I know Okoro is going to be in his face, and I know Mobley is going to take a shit on Crowder.

I think we'll be a pesky team that teams can't sleep on anymore. (If coached properly)

I agree that Mobley will be a match up problem, but Okoro hasn't shown this defensive stopper reputation that he has been given. It may happen, but he was getting torched almost every game last season. He tries hard but his lack of length hurts him

What's the benchmark for a good rookie season here? If Mobley puts up something like:
13/5/2 on .480/.402/.826 splits while playing maybe 25 mpg would that be good?

13/5/2 sounds about right. Shooting percentages seem high based on how he shot in college & factoring in the longer 3-point line. I’d say .48/.28/.69

If he did that he'd be called a bust around here.
Maybe so. I think we saw in summer league that it’s going to take some time for Mobley to find his legs in the NBA. He’ll be ok in time, but it is gonna take him a couple of years at least. This is not a physically dominant player, at this point.

If the 2 is assists, I feel like he’s being misused. I’m just most bullish on his passing offensively.

Roughly that is the ballpark though……just looking at past guys with similar builds.

It is probably going to take him some time to get his legs under him at the NBA level.

I'm not saying those would be horrible stats. I'm just saying he'd be called a bust by a quorum of posters for those numbers.

point being that those were Markkanen's worst year as a pro., which makes Lauri's down year a kind of benchmark for Mobley. Evan has his Eddie Jones.

At this point we have to ask if Mobley can play the 3. Lauri isn’t making 67 million to be a bench player
