I don't know DC, the Red Sox can hit. All of Devers, Martinez, Bogearts, Renfroe, Vasquez, Dalbec, Schwarber, and Verdugo are having productive seasons.
Does not look good. Seemed like a late slide into the bag/fielder.
Bogaerts isn't bad and Verdugo is hitting .350 since the All-Star break. Schwarber has been hot since coming over.
FWiW.. the boston red sox boards/forums are claiming Mercado should have ONLY been awarded 3B.. They're wrong..but it doesn't stop the postings..
The Boston fans at yesterday's game were intolerable the whole game.
Would expect nothing less.
A few funny tidbits.. there was a woman in the same row as me just a section over to the left.. the whole game was literally screaming all the Boston names as they batted or even if they caught a damn fly ball. After the second out in the 9th, she goes "I can't watch this anymore..." and walks out. Game ends and these two Red Sox's fans were walking on the concourse as "Cleveland Rocks" was playing, the one goes, "I hate this damn song..." as a Cleveland fan who may have had some adult beverages then starts singing Cleveland Rocks to them lol. After the game, I went to Angelo's in Lakewood to get some food.. I'm already at my table and I see a guy walk in with a Red Sox jersey... I make eye contact with him with my Tribe gear still on, all I did was give him a smirk and he gave me the hand lol
...though, credit the Sox fan fortunate enough to find Angelo's !
