The Draft is Near - RCF Contract Dynasty League

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Are you all gonna do trades or be tight?

I’m always down to trade

@Out of the Rafters at the Q
@Cavsfan1985

Are you guys still doing this? I need an answer ASAP. With pr26 dropping out, we may have to cut the league to ten teams for this year, and in that event I'm giving the tenth spot to the first of you two that answers me. Also, please join the Group Me and the league on Sleeper ASAP. Links are in the private message I sent to everyone in the league on this site.

1) Yes.
2) I have no interest in playing if it's 10-team. Just give the spot to @Cavsfan1985 in that case.

I'd be down for this...just @ or message me if there's a spot

The draft is officially complete. I’ll be posting all your rosters here later today, but I’m on my phone at the moment so I’ll just start with my own.

QB - Ryan Tannehill - $7
QB - Trey Lance - $17
QB - Zach Wilson - $15
QB - Deshaun Watson - $6
QB - Carson Wentz - $4

RB - Darrell Henderson - $12
RB - Cam Akers - $6
RB - Chase Edmonds - $5
RB - Leonard Fournette - $2
RB - Devin Singletary - $4

WR - Stefon Diggs - $36
WR - Davante Adams - $35
WR - Julio Jones - $5
WR - Odell Beckham - $8
WR - Elijah Moore - $5
WR - Terrace Marshall - $6
WR - DeVante Parker - $1
WR - Antonio Brown - $5
WR - Marquez Callaway - $3

TE - Logan Thomas - $11

I wasn’t intending to punt at RB, but the early backs were going for such extreme prices that I ended up pivoting and chasing value at WR and QB, this being superflex and all.

Assuming that one or both of Lance and Wilson pan out, I should have the best QB and WR groups in the league for the next two years at least.

I’ll post my contracts a little later.

Also, just a heads up, trades will officially be allowed starting Thursday at kickoff after all contracts have been submitted.

This is my first contract league, so I took the approach of loading up large contracts for age 25 and younger RBs that have already shown huge upside in the league, at least 1 high priced young stud at receiver, and an elite top 3 TE, while filling out my roster with cheap young talent that I plan on giving 4 year contracts to a lot of them. Hopefully that strategy pays off, especially since those higher priced acquisitions cost a little more then I expected, Especially Gibson. With the exception of Chubb (who will definitely be getting a 4 year deal) I still haven’t determined how long of a contract to give to Swift and Gibson since they haven’t shown the consistency of Chubb just yet and their contracts are decent sized. As for QBs, I took the approach to accumulate as many cheap ones as possible and hope that 2 pan out. I’d say spending $7 total dollars on 4 counts as cheap, lol…that’s if we’re counting Travis Taylor as an actual NFL QB.

Waller will be the tricky one contract wise. He’s a top 3 tight end, arguably top 2, but he is already 28 and will cost me $28 a year. TEs tend to start breaking down after 30 but he’s in great shape and the focal point of that offense.

Nice job last night Jack. You’re strategy was one ive used in many auction leagues. Spend wisely in the first quarter of the draft so that you have a larger amount of salary then everyone else for the last 3/4 of the draft in order to either outbid the lower payroll teams or force them to pay more for possible sleeper picks. I switched my strategy a little in that I wanted to add some bigger known talent, especially at RB. I did this by passing on players I liked when my remaining cap was down to around $40 with 14 players still left to draft. That was so I could let others use up most of their remaining cap so that I could “steal” some $1 players for $2.
