2021 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This year's QB Class is really bad. Bad enough that I think there's an outside shot Ridder sneaks into the 1st round.

The playoff pretty much has three spots taken now. Alabama and Georgia are both getting in, and I doubt they can leave out Cincinnati with a win over Notre Dame unless the Irish just fall apart the rest of the season.

It's too hard to say anything at this point.

If Oregon goes undefeated and Oklahoma goes undefeated then, yea, a 1 loss SEC non-champion is probably getting left out.

Oregon in particular with their win at OSU.

Or if Cincinnati blows a game.

It's going to be interesting to see how things shake out, which usually is not the case. ND is out, Clemson's out and with them the ACC is nearly out, the Big 12 has a history of cannibalism as does the PAC, and the Big looks wide open compared to most seasons.

The more I think about it the more this is way too early to declare.

Georgia could look like absolute world beaters but if they lose a game and Oregon, Penn State, and Oklahoma re all undefeated, they're not getting in.

Oregon loses

We need 2 of Oklahoma/Cincinnati/Sec loser/Oregon to lose and 12-1 OSU would get in

Well just looking at the landscape that Oregon loss pretty much does it for OSU I'd think. Would take a LOT.

Waaaaaaaaay too much football left still guys, come on.

So i bet UC +15,000 at the start of the season to win it all. A long shot still for sure, but its been fun so far.

And got a lot more exciting today.

If OSU wins out (which would include wins over #4 Penn State, #14 Michigan and likely #5 Iowa in the Big Ten title game) they will be in the playoff thanks to this Oregon loss.

No I'm pretty sure the Oregon loss makes it less likely, not more.

Oregon has to lose again otherwise. They're simply not gonna overlook Oregon winning IN Columbus. Won't happen.

Michael Penix is really bad. Really, really bad.

Oregon losing is definitely good for OSU.

We need all contenders to lose as much as possible. Really, cincy and Oklahoma losing should be enough

Oregon is done, the Pac 12 is way too shitty
