Week #7 - Denver Broncos @ Cleveland Browns (-4.5) - 8:20 p.m. on Fox

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
1. Fire Joe Woods.
2. Trade OBJ for a 6th rounder.

I can live with whatever consequences come from those moves.
LOL.

Imagine making that post seconds after a great win on 3 days rest, without the starting QB, RT, RB1/RB2, and JOK

You do realize the scheme will not change if a defensive coordinator is fired mid-season right? That's not how it works. One of his own assistants would get the promotion and the season is basically an understood tank job.

BTW - they don't fire defensive coordinators after a win, baby!
I'm not convinced it's all scheme. His situational play calling is shit. Do we blow coverages & miss tackles? Sure, but the play calling should be something we have a better feel for.

This has a rally round the flag feel to it. Everybody is down on the Browns now, so much they feel underrated. Plus I don’t think Den is very good. I’ll predict a much needed Browns win. The city is turning on them so they desperately need it.

Don’t @me

Lots of people counted the Browns out on Sunday. I did not. Now get healthy for Pitt. Stefanski did better this game.

The Broncos were held to 223 total yards and two scores, argument can be made they don't score that second touchdown without A SHIT TON of help from bad ref calls.

Is this the right night for this argument?

Probably. It took our secondary making 1 play out of what? 17? and the ref trying to inexplicably give them two awful free first down spots and ignore holding on half the drive.

I don’t love Woods but I think his strategy was sound tonight. Make Denver go on 3 methodical drives to beat you. They didn’t have a chance for the 3rd one.

No. I guess not.

....I'll see you tomorrow.

And it should have been 7 or less. No excuse to let Denver score on their last drive with multiple 3rd down conversions
When teams score touchdowns at least one of 3 things happen:

1. Massive long play for a TD
2. No 3rd down conversions because they gash so many yards on first and second down
3. 3rd or 4th down conversions

So whichever of those three ways lead to it, when TD's happen, its never a good look. That's why points allowed is the ultimate measure of a defense. Though its also fair to point out the 220ish yards allowed is never considered bad overall.

The bottom line is 14 points allowed. Is that great against this opponent? No.

Is it bad or "inexcusable". No
