Game Thread | 2021-22 Season | Game #4 | Cavs @ Nuggets | Oct. 25, 2021

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I thought you watched the game? Stats or no stats the difference is night and day. Garland needs to learn how to run an offense.
Lolz. Haters live in fantasy. Your just trying to break him down and ignore Rubio's poor 3rd quarter

I think we gave up a ton of shots that Memphis & the Hornets seemed to knock down, but hard to complain with a win. Their wings should have killed us, but we were ahead from start to finish. When it got close we kept the foot on the gas. Kudos to the team for making that happen.

Thank you Jarrett Allen & Mr Love.

They were both off offensively but I think Rubio for the most part was much more in control. Not sure about the rest, but I don't care if Garland misses. I just don't like when he aimlessly dribbles the ball and then forces up a bad shot outside of his range or makes a pass while in the air. Or when he gives up an easier shot to pass into a tougher shot. He's still early in his career, but I want to see him learn to improve his game timing, which I think Rubio excels at. I think Darius is incredibly talented, but I want to see him be a leader out there.
Aimless dribbling with 7 assist? One less than Rubio? After coming back from a sprained ankle? DG + 12 second to Mobley.

It’s only four games into the season, my friend. Everyone is finding their groove.

Honestly some of y'all need to go start the realdariusgarlandfans.com and leave this holy site alone during games like this.
again your doing the same ole song and dance. What about Colin's horrible d in the 3rd quarter?? Rubio's horrible 3rd quarter shot selection??? Bias is bias

It is very similar to the OBJ energy in the Browns threads.

Big props to Jarrett Allen and Kevin Love for how they played all game. JA especially was just great tonight.

Mobley was solid and continues not force things. At all.

Props to Markannen for coming out of the gate with some attitude, that nasty posterization of Jokic, and for hitting two 3Ps. Of course he missed six but just hitting multiple and reminding them you can do that *can* keep a defense from sagging off you to pack the paint

Props to Okoro for a few steals and a few blocks. Hustled hard all game

Credit to Rubio for moving the ball when his shot wasn't falling and especially for forehead locking with punk ass Campazzano for about 7 seconds straight. Like Rubio, Garlands shot wasn't falling and he made some boneheaded moves but he still had 7 assists(19 in two games now) and created for others while getting back in action from the tweaked ankle.

Colin competed like always. Both he and Garland pounded out some top of the key dribbling more than in the first three games and that's not ideal but Collin stepped up with 3/5 from 3P with two huge 3's in that 4th quarter run.

I know a lot of people wanted Windler in the rotation tonight(and certainly Cedi didn't do much) but I think coming off a great energy/toughness game against ATL and with one new guy(Garland) already coming back into the lineup, Coach was wise to keep the rotation tight tonight.

Basically, in summary, I didn't expect a win on this road trip. So coming out here on the first game, in the altitude, against a better team(even without Murray) and getting that W in impressive fashion, I only have praise for every single guy in the main rotation tonight.
