We need to choke their offense and then let our guards slash them up. Run their tired old asses out of the gym.
The Lakers are 1-2 when he plays. He's shooting more 3's than ever. To be specific, in three games he's averaging 9.7 three-point attempts per game. His career average is 4.4 and his previous high was 6.3 (the last two years). So he's shooting 53% more 3's so far this year than he's ever shot before.
LeBron at nearly 37 years old is transitioning quickly to being more of a 3-point shooter than a slasher. And the Cavs are a great perimeter defending team - they rank 5th in opponents' 3-point percentage at 31%.
LeBron is averaging 20.0 shots per game and 9.7, or just under 50%, are 3's. He's conserving energy. They're playing him 38 minutes a game. He has to pace himself. If the Cavs press him on the perimeter and not let him get open looks they should be OK.
He's also averaging 5.3 assists per game, which is the lowest of his career despite playing more minutes per game than any season in 10 years. His game has had to change. Father Time is undefeated. He's transitioning to being a spot-up 3-point shooter instead of a slasher and distributor.
The assist numbers are also a function of the complete lack of shooting on their roster. He's pretty much their best shooterThe Lakers are 1-2 when he plays. He's shooting more 3's than ever. What about Melo? The assist numbers are also a function of the complete lack of shooting on their roster. He's pretty much their best shooter
It’s so strange seeing LBJ miss so many games now as he was basically IRON MAN for so many years. But like they said Father Time is UNDEFEATEDLebron is back tonight.

Not sure what that meant but if you were implying I wasn’t taken into consideration his age…..I was! Thus the Father Time commentHe is 36 years old. Like, they always say "father time is undefeated".
Thought LeBron was a GTD tonight?
Dunno. I think this game is tough b/c LeBron is so cerebral and they are back at home. I can't see us destroying them by any means. We will force LBJ off of the 3 point line and he's a special player near the hoop, maybe not for huge elevation highlight jams, but for distributing or hockey assists. He's just a genius. We will have to play very well, especially on offense, since LeBron has a way of making things difficult, as does AD.Again. Thought LeBron was a GTD.
Did something come out already?
