Game Thread | 2021-22 Season | Game #6 | Cavs @ Lakers | Oct. 29, 2021

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Lakers are 1-2 when he plays. He's shooting more 3's than ever. To be specific, in three games he's averaging 9.7 three-point attempts per game. His career average is 4.4 and his previous high was 6.3 (the last two years). So he's shooting 53% more 3's so far this year than he's ever shot before.

LeBron at nearly 37 years old is transitioning quickly to being more of a 3-point shooter than a slasher. And the Cavs are a great perimeter defending team - they rank 5th in opponents' 3-point percentage at 31%.

LeBron is averaging 20.0 shots per game and 9.7, or just under 50%, are 3's. He's conserving energy. They're playing him 38 minutes a game. He has to pace himself. If the Cavs press him on the perimeter and not let him get open looks they should be OK.

He's also averaging 5.3 assists per game, which is the lowest of his career despite playing more minutes per game than any season in 10 years. His game has had to change. Father Time is undefeated. He's transitioning to being a spot-up 3-point shooter instead of a slasher and distributor.
The Vince Carter Approach

Bron is already #11 all time in 3 pointers. Watch him climb a little.

Can't wait for the game, wish it started earlier though. We can win this one too.

I can't stay up but I'll just say the double whammie in LA is like a guaranteed loss for a team of young kids. THey'll have been partying it up.

Baby Giraffe is motivated to shine in front of his family and friends. He’s going to go for 20/10/5/5. Book it!

Davis will school Mobley tonight. It's not the Lakers athleticism that bothers me, it's men vs boys. A very powerful team they are.

Hopefully JB let them go out and party after Wednesday night's game, but kept them closer to home last night.

I mean I would bet very few of the Cavs players are doing anything that would affects their games the next day,not while their friends are partying on their dime or whatever happens usually.

Expecting Westbrook — Sexton have some entertaining heated moments... Need someone to tell Sexton that Westbrooksaid he is thrash, lol....

A focused LBJ will be tough to beat especially with LA losing last time against OKC. AD is a different monster than anyone Allen and Mobley have faced so far. I just wish we get the bad westbrook tonight to have a boxer's chance.
