Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Do you guys know how the "protocols" work this year? How much time does one need to sit out in minimum?

I don't know what they are for the NBA, but after 5 days and testing negative, there is only a very tiny likelihood you have it. Like less than 1%.

Sure makes you wonder if Love and Lauri have been hanging out

Apparently every Cavalier is fully vaccinated. So they have to wait 10 days or pass 2 PCR tests taken 24 hours apart from each other. And it looks like it's not just Cavs. Tobias Harris and Khris Middleton also tested positive for Covid.

Jakob Poeltl as well.

These protocols just continue to be brutally stupid for fully vaccinated professional athletes.

Nobody wants to the be the first league to say "hey, we gotta treat this like it's an endemic virus at this point" so we'll be doing this for like 3 more years.

just play or go away there is no compromise now with this damn pandemic

yep if everyone was vaxed entering the arena's it wouldn't matter if anyone tested + really. But too many people have issues with vaccines or something still so the NBA has to cater to the source of their revenue which is a collection of vax and non vax fans.
I wonder if at some point the rule will change and the NBA just says fuck the fans who don't care about life smh

Speaking of stupid ...

Was at a concert Saturday night in Atlantic City and most of the place was filled (Foreigner, so mostly Boomers and Gen-xers - guy in front of me was 86!) They actually made an announcement that everyone needs to practice social distancing! We all laughed -- so stupid, there weren't empty seats in the sold sections. Plus most of us were older and at higher risk and mostly vaccinated. Unlike SoFi in LA there was no requirement for masking or proving vaccination status. Of course without tourism AC has no reason to exist.

WOuld love to see Windler get the start.

It's gonna be Osman.

Crazy as it sounds, unless Windler has looked really bad in practice, I'd start him in place of Markkanen and try to leave the rest of the substitution patterns in tact. Not that Dylan is a plug and play replacement for Lauri but it might be the best way to maintain some semblance of lineup rotations. I prefer that to putting Cedi in the starting lineup.

I hope JBB can find a way to keep Mobley and Allen under 36 minutes. Might even be a decent opportunity to test out the dreaded three-guard lineup considering Portland might be the only other team with a midget backcourt that rivals Sexland :chuckle:

Just to further the point: Are we ever gonna admit that maybe, just maaaybbbeeee, we need to rethink the way we go about this stuff?

12 out of 13 false positives....
