Yeah, I'm not sure about starting Okoro, He doesn't even think about shooting when he gets an open look.
He's a nice piece to have when you need to lock down a star player, but you need some absolute firepower to make it up on the other end.
 
Loss hurts. Lots of mistakes down the stretch but I'm not mad - they need to learn from these kinds of losses (JBB included). There are consequences to getting complacent and fucking up when it matters.
 
JUst..why the fuck was Allen in the fucking game up 4 when he wasn't the guy guarding the inbounds? We protecting the lob pass, JBB? You just need guys who can run them off the 3 point line. We don't need to protect the rim there.


Shit like that from him that really makes you question his coaching chops.
 
I will catch a replay but looking at the boxscore there is no way you are going regularly win games when your starting SG scores 2 points and your starting SF scores 3. I know Markannen will be back soon but the wings are a huge problem. I don't understand why Windler doesn't get a few more minutes. At least he can shoot the ball.
 
JBB has proven he can't execute in important situations. The fact that we don't have a good inbounds play in the years he's been here is enough for me to say g'day.

and without either of those two it would have been a blow out. Harrell had damn near all their points in the first half.

This was a good game.

I’m just in disbelief at the last two minutes of the game. That was really horrible. I hope JBB stop going to that “defensive” unit. Just play your starters.

I'm fine with a Mark Jackson level coach for now since we haven't even looked close to being as competitive as this year but this loss right here was just absolutely unacceptable.

it was pretty bad seeing the only 3PTs made at the half being from Lamar Stevens and Evan Mobley. And I think Garland at the end.

I’m not. Sorry. JBB makes way too many bonehead mistakes. This isn’t some rookie HC learning on the job.
 
When is Lauri and Love back? Can’t seem to find any updates at all on them
 
Well we play the worst team in the league next.

We'll see if this loss lingers.

If they lose that one, watch out. It could get ugly fast.

Not that it changes much, but if you watch the go ahead 3 by Kuzma Stevens is clearly trying to intentionally foul Beal as he’s driving to the basket.

I also don’t get the complaint about the Garland shot in the thread as if that’s on the coach. Best option for us on the floor broke off whatever play we were running because he got a wide open look at 3. He missed it, oh well.

Good learning experience for all involved. Washington bullied them all night and the Cavs kept coming back or holding them off until the last 30 seconds. Tip your cap to a guy getting hot at the end and move on.
