Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dude fuck off, I've been posting here for over a decade. I'm not trolling. The coach is bad at everything to do with competing with elite teams.

He's a great motivator. He is our Mark Jackson. One day we will need a Steve Kerr. I stand by that. That last possession was fucking garbage. Dogshit. Awful. Ugly. Incompetent. Terrible. Pitiful. Disastrous. And worst of all.....entirely, totally, and completely predictable.

He didn't even draw up a single screen to free Garland. Not even 1 screen.

He's fine for now. I dont want him fired. But his ceiling is taking a team to the 2nd round or so. And then losing to a Steve Kerr or a Quinn Snyder. It is what is. The roster isn't a title roster yet so it's fine for now. But again, trash.
Sure…..let’s bitch at the coach waaaaa waaaa tough loss but a good loss is the ducking jazz not the pistons

JBB is so trash he coached the Cavs into a chance to win after being down 15+ in the second half.

Insufferable.
Yeah right. JBB had nothing to do with the fact that Cedi, Lauri, Okoro & co suddenly decided to take the game into their own hands with Garland and Allen sitting.

It’s a tough league to come back from double digits in the fourth and still have enough buckets left to finish it off. Awesome comeback. Just no quit in the team - mentally tough.

One of two things should have happened before that 17 seconds left play

We should have subbed in Love for Allen or Cedi for Allen to space the floor and put Utah in a position where even if Garland got to the rim, he would have had a wide open shooter he could kick to if Gobert collapsed

Allen served no purpose in that final play.

You could have subbed Mobley out as well and come back with Cedi, Love and Mark and forced Gobert to recover to one of them off the Garland or Rubio drive

Either way, a sub was needed there that at the very least took Allen off the floor

Only thing I’ll say is that if the play is Darius iso, then you gotta at least try to take gobert out of the paint by putting love or osman in for Allen.

Or maybe having 1 guy set a single screen at some point.

Gobert was waiting there to literally smack the ball like a drunk dude smacks that arcade game where you punch the bag as hard as you can.

Idk if people are going to say Okoro had a good game because he had a wrap up on Mitchell that didn't end up in us gaining possession anyways and he hit a wide open three during that run we made, but to me, it's absolutely frustrating how much he's hurting us out there. Do people understand how bad it is that your starting SG can only manage to go 2/9 from the floor when literally nobody is guarding him? Like to the degree his man is essentially just standing in the paint and clogging driving lanes for Garland or rim rolling lanes for Allen/Mobley.

Imagine if we had an even just a league average SG out there in place of Okoro? Someone who could do more offensively than clank open threes or give the ball back after being passed to?

Steve Kerr isn't even that great.

Jackson was a clown about some stuff but he helped develop that team who was super young and then got shitcanned early. Had he not been fired and allowed to coach Curry and Klay's prime years, it would have been similar to what it looked like. The point of this is not that Mark Jackson is a great coach. It's that Steve Kerr is massively overrated.

You're hot taking this like their has been some Sunday drinking or some lost money gambling going on.

So MUCH positive to focus on in this game from the players and coaches and this season as well. And instead go thinking that that coaches can and will grow into the team, as well as help the team grown, in a multi year fashion, with some growing pains, like the path ALL other winning non super teams follow, you're making this early JBB is trash and will never be good enough, like he's just some babysitter and not a dude who's been around and coaching basketball his whole life.

Quinn is a good coach for sure. But has also had some DISAPPOINTING playoff runs. AND has CONTINUITY. The the of continuity that allows you to create an identity and scheme and then continue to stack more and more on top. We are in the very beginning of that phase and JBB is doing the right thing by focusing on the core and simple basics of what that identity is. If given the chance to have that type of continuity, that will grow and expand as well. If not, some other coach, hopefully a good one as well, will benefit a LOT from the work JBB has put in with this group.

Edit: Not like it's needed but all of the above is an "in my opinion" lol

Enjoyed this game a lot. Clean some things up, get a star-ish wing, another solid veteran, better play calling at the end…..looking good.
Where you been Cayman? Missed you! Coach aint that bad or you wouldn’t be back posting. You here because we back competing!!!

Sure…..let’s bitch at the coach waaaaa waaaa tough loss but a good loss is the ducking jazz not the pistons
Or Golden State to the Spurs last night or Clipper to the Kings last night…….Could you imagine great Coaches like Kerr and Lue losing to those scrub teams…..

What a trash take.
Yeah I don't get that, DG is quick and can create his shot. He'll learn. This game matter of fact is a great experience at the end for him.

Or he could have set a screen, brought Gobert out to the mid-paint, and then he would have had to drop back to protect the lob leaving Garland with the 15 footer he has hit literally all night long.

They didnt even set a damn screen, Rch.

Why wouldnt they set a screen? Theyve been using the lob threat to ice shot blockers all season...

And they just have Allen standing there....I dont get it.

Needed more shooters out there on the last play. Cedi for sure, maybe even Love. Little use of both Allen and Mobley in that situation. Sigh.
