Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Osman should bitch slap JBB for prioritizing Okoro in the final minutes after how he played. Hell, on the final possession there's no reason for Rubio or Lauri to be out there instead of him either.

Markkanen and Love were 2-9 from 3. A couple extra of those would have helped.

We did a decent job on Mitchell, especially in the second half, but not enough. Overall we didn't close out well enough.

I don't wanna hear any more shitposting about Garland. Ever.

Maybe he was using Allen for a lob or tip in. That has actually been our most reliable offense.

If he was using him for a lob he should have had him going downhill after slipping a high screen. You dont get lobs on good teams just standing there.

Rubio was totally useless in the final possession because he wasn't going to even get the ball, let alone get a shot off. But Markkanen is 7 feet and has a quick shot. He absolutely has to be there when there's chaos during the 10 final seconds.

Cavs are back.

Fans of a team that won 41 combined games the past 2 seasons are melting down over moving to 13-11 after losing to a title contender by 1.

Coach is trash, players are trash. Trash trash trash.

We’re back!

Damn straight. I'll take me throwing a tantrum about JBB after he makes himself look awful over just not caring because they are expected to be awful any single day.

At some point this schedule will ease up and we will start to really roll motherfuckers.

I actually like our chances against the Bucks tomorrow.

Just a little confused by the final lineup.

If the ball is going to Garland no matter what, then why have Rubio in the game instead of Osman?

It just should have been 5 out.

This one sucks because the next game is a rough one too.

That's the game.

Gave themselves a chance to win.
These games will give them experience. I look at it this way..in the past the Cavs would have got blown out with no chance to win. They should have made some of those shots and made better decisions .But they did give themselves a chance to win..
I think it's safe to say we expect them to win now.

Dude fuck off, I've been posting here for over a decade. I'm not trolling. The coach is bad at everything to do with competing with elite teams.

He's a great motivator. He is our Mark Jackson. One day we will need a Steve Kerr. I stand by that. That last possession was fucking garbage. Dogshit. Awful. Ugly. Incompetent. Terrible. Pitiful. Disastrous. And worst of all.....entirely, totally, and completely predictable.

He didn't even draw up a single screen to free Garland. Not even 1 screen.

He's fine for now. I dont want him fired. But his ceiling is taking a team to the 2nd round or so. And then losing to a Steve Kerr or a Quinn Snyder. It is what is. The roster isn't a title roster yet so it's fine for now. But again, trash.
Not going to lie - JBB struggles out of time-outs. Needed all your shooters on the floor there - in CASE the lane gets closed off.

This was a tough loss because they were right there. But I love a lot what I am seeing. The team has some fight, we have legit talent in the vein of a couple of all stars and maybe a superstar. This is fun again.

I don't agree with everything you've said for the end of the game call, but this is spot on. Jarrett was not going to beat him on length.

The 1st fake screen was Rubio (I think), Lauri made some contact bc he was too worried about the pop.

Jarrett should have been 1st, Mobley 2nd, Lauri in the corner.

Exactly. Thank you.

By and large, Rubio is only useful when he can dribble around and create plays for others. That wasn't going to be the case in the final possession. The game was Garland's to win or lose.

Rubio and Allen should have been on the bench. There wasn't going to be a rebounding battle, too little time. We couldn't leave them 5 seconds to possibly get a winning shot off.

Garland, Osman, Markkanen, Mobley and Love should've been the final lineup.

Okoro wasn't even doing anything defensively. He got lit up by Mitchell and he had a bad three point foul and another bad foul in the final couple minutes on a pump fake when Mitchell had nowhere to go. People here really overrate his defense. Acting as if it comes anywhere close to making up for how bad his offense is is simply mind boggling.
The three point fouls had no excuses, but most of Mitchell's scoring came when he was matched up with Lauri to start and near the end with Rubio on him.

Come on. The dude torched literally EVERYONE we put on him. Lauri, Okoro, Osman, Rubio. And he didn't even break a sweat.

Just too fucking good.
