I believe JBB is doing enough, so much even, of the right things that matter in the big picture with this team, that he deserves the opportunity to build continuity and grow with the team. Not forever if we hit a point that we should be able to get past but can not, but at least for a few years. He may be overrated but he instituted a system where those guys had the freedom to let their talents show and he can call a hell of an ATO play.
I don't need Gregg Popovich here. I just need a guy who can execute when the game is on the line.
Ty Lue could barely get his dudes up to play for a game that wasn't important but Ty can draw up one HELL of an out of bounds play.
Criticizing the coach or critiquing specific plays is totally fine.We are allowed to be good and criticize the coach. A couple different tweaks, adjustments, keeping a player in, actually drawing up a final play that works.. and maybe we win that game
I understand IBWT outbursts about thatCriticizing the coach or critiquing specific plays is totally fine.
Making premature generalizations that the coach is just a babysitter until we get a "real" coach to take over is demeaning and ignorant of so many right things that are being done and instilled by that coach.
Just text him directly. He's probably not aware and could use the help understanding basketball.Gonna go help my wife move some shit in the garage to take my anger out.
I’ll be back to discuss what JBB did wrong more calmly later
Fuck da Jazz
You understand and agree with that initial post?I understand IBWT outbursts about that
Is JBB a playoff winning coach to you?
I agree that there's going to be a successor to JBB and the Cavs will take off, just seems like it's going to happen that wayYou understand and agree with that initial post?
I was thinking that,,have your shooters out there..all they needed was a 2..Utah would have extended their D ,which would have opened up everything. One of two things should have happened before that 17 seconds left play
We should have subbed in Love for Allen or Cedi for Allen to space the floor and put Utah in a position where even if Garland got to the rim, he would have had a wide open shooter he could kick to if Gobert collapsed
Allen served no purpose in that final play.
You could have subbed Mobley out as well and come back with Cedi, Love and Mark and forced Gobert to recover to one of them off the Garland or Rubio drive
Either way, a sub was needed there that at the very least took Allen off the floor
Interesting. Sounds like a lot of people already have their minds made up. I see the Cavs already taking off and if given the time for continuity and the couple of roster additions that will be made, I don't know why people are so naturally quick to assume to he's not a good enough coach. Certainly not perfect, none of them are.I agree that there's going to be a successor to JBB and the Cavs will take off, just seems like it's going to happen that way
Yeah. Literally the ONLY reason for Allen to be there was to battle for an offensive rebound. In theory. But there wasn't going to be time for a rebounding battle because it was always going to be a last second shot. So he was not only useless, he harmed the last play. Really bad call by JBB.I was thinking that,,have your shooters out there..all they needed was a 2..Utah would have extended their D ,which would have opened up everything.
I don't think anyone's hating on him, but he's not above criticism either. Darius had plenty of mental mistakes and bad turnovers again, and while he was sizzling offensively all game, he came up totally empty in the last possession.Confused at seeing the Garland hate on here. Dude carried us offensively.
