Portland is at the point where they either rebuild and unload their big names for picks or they go all in on Simmons to appease Lillard.Lillard apparently asking for a two-year, 107 Meeellion dollar extension for his age 35&36 seasons...
Seems fair.
If they go the first round, I think buying low on RoCo makes a ton of sense for us. Probably just cap filler and the SAS pickPortland is at the point where they either rebuild and unload their big names for picks or they go all in on Simmons to appease Lillard.

I'm not Portland, but I'd certainly choose any other option before I did THAT.I think this is a brilliant poker move by Lillard. If they give him what he asks for, he's the highest paid player in the League. If they refuse to reward his loyalty and play, he has every right to ask to be traded. This may have won him the PR battle *and* will get his wish either way.

Tim MacMahon went on Lowe’s podcast and said he has heard that Zion might weigh as much as 330 right now.
I just… wow. Even if the actual number’s not quite that high, he still looks like he’s eating himself right out of the NBA.

The player that comes to mind is Shaq, but I'm not sure you can get away with this as a forward that depends on atheleticism/explosion.
Shaq was near 400 when he won his third ring with the Lakers. I was trying to draw a comparison between functional/successful NBA players who played way over weight.Shaq was a legit 7'1 though. Zion is 6'6 on a good day.
Zion @ 330 is very different from Shaq @ 330.
Maybe the Boston Celtics version of Shaq...

Zion picked the wrong sport. Probably could have been a nasty OL man.
