Something I noticed about the Garland inbounds steal. When he was battling Simons(?) for the ball, he didn't just try to use his arms or upper body, he sort of bent/dipped down so he could put his legs and hips into the force of tearing the ball away. That's a huge difference between a Jump Ball and 3 the 3 points we got from the goaltending and tech FT.

There was a similar loose ball he scrapped for a few games/weeks back against a much bigger player where he did that same thing and used his lower body to generate more force to win possession vs. just settling for a jump ball call.

Love seeing that from a guy who at a casual glance does seem all that strong or imposing. And from your point guard who just like a QB, is often natural looked for leadership.

Put the team on his back with offense and some real nice defense to seal it.

Man I hope he makes it to the All-Star game.
Come on Klutch, do your slimy shady tampering thing and get your client into the ASG with Allen.

I was actually really encouraged by Darius quick trigger. It just shows he is gaining much needed confidence and getting rid of some of his 'reluctance' to shoot.

Teams need to understand that if they give him space, they pay. You can't dictate what you want to do defensively, we will dictate it. You want to gamble, sure.

His shots didn't fall early in the game, but he kept shooting them and eventually he finished with 10-17 from the field. Impressive.

I just read that Rondo was in his ear throughout the game telling him to keep being aggressive and eventually the shots will fall. I love reading that. If Rondo can instill such mindset in Garland, then acquiring Rondo is a win in my book regardless of what he does on the floor. I love that the Cavs had Rubio playing a leading roll in mentoring the young pups and now Rondo is going to do his own thing in that regard...but probably in a different fashion. I wonder who's better for them in that regard...I feel like Rondo may provide an even better guidance for Garland in achieving the Steph Curry projection!

Michael Redd only made one ASG in his career. Now he’s selling cars in Nebraska with one of the largest dealerships in America and producing Pixar films. Guess he got the last laugh.

Credit to Kobe he is acquiring players that keep creating a good tough mentality culture. One of the reasons sexton needs to stay. Obviously the debate is over who’s the pg of the future but sexton in the bench in this team will be deadly. Especially the leaps garland is taking oh man the future is bright as fuck

But I do agree that LeGM has mostly made terrible decisions that have cost him in the long run.

The Lebron hate around here is a little bizarre. Dude took his teams to the Finals 10 times out of 18 years so far, which might be the best record in basketball history or close to it, so I think he’s done pretty well GM wise.
